    To reset the limite\Rrs, the currently est\Rablished settings must 
    be released.
    The limiter positi\Rons that are set ca\Rn be reset by following 
    the steps below.
    1	Release the setting\>s of the limiter pos\>itions to 
    be reset by following the steps in \>“Releasing 
    the limiters”.
    2	Set the limiter posi\>tions by following the steps 
    in “Setting the limiter\>s”.

    Safe mo\fe
    wwConcerning the safe mode
    The unit is equipp\Red with a safe mode for protection from \R
    damage.
    When a safe mode is established, some or al\Rl of operations 
    will no longer be \Raccepted.
    Trouble‑triggered safe mode
    When the unit has \Rdetected trouble, the “trouble‑triggered 
    safe mode” is estab lished: In this mode, the unit’s 
    functions are shut \Rdown and then the un\Rit is returned 
    to its regular sta\Rtus in about 30
     seconds after it ha\Rs 
    been started up again or th\Re initial setting \Roper
    
    ation is 
    performed.
    (When the unit has\R detected trouble again, the “trouble
    ‑
    triggered safe mode”
    
     will be established again.)
    wpThe output of pictu\Rres might be suspe\Rnded when 
    the safe mode is established.

     seconds later.

    Symptom 1
    wp When accessing the w\Reb browser , the following message is di\Rsplayed on the information bar. 
    “Pop

    ‑up or additional o\Rptions click here…”
    Solution
    Add the IP address\R of the product to \R“Trusted sites”, and \Rperform the security setting.
    1	Start up the web browser, and click “Internet Options” on the Tools menu.
    2	 Click the [Security] tab. Then, select the “Trusted sites”. 
    (Refer to the screensho\Rt.)
    3	 Select “Low” for “Security level for this zone”. If the lower setting is sele\Rcted, the 
    security level of PC will go d\Rown.
    4	 Click the [Sites] button to open the \R“Trusted sites” window.
    5	 Enter the IP addre\Rss in the textbox “Add this website to the zone:”, and click the 
    [Add] button. 
    Note: 
     Make sure “Require ser
    
    ver verification (https:) \Rfor all sites in th\Ris zone” is 
    unchecked. (Refer to the screensho\Rt.)
    6	 After adding all I\RP addresses, click the [Close] button to close the \R“Trusted Sites”

    wpEasy IP Setup Soft\Rware does not displ\Ray the detected IP a\Rddress .
    Solution
    Check the firewall settings. If firewall is activated, add the web browser or Easy IP Se\Rtup Software to the [Excepti\Rons] tab on 
    the “Windows Firewall Settings” menu.
    1	Open the control pa\Rnel, and click “Security”.
    2	 Click “Allow a program through Windows Firewall” of “Windows Firewall”. (Refer to the screensho\Rt.)
    3	Click the [Continue] button on the “User Account Contro\Rl” window.
    4	 Click the [Exceptions] \Rtab on the “Windows Firewall Settings” windows. 
    Check “Internet Explorer” or “easyipsetup.exe”. (Refer to the screensho\Rt.)
    5	 Click the [OK] button.
    Symptom 3
    wpWhen starting the Easy IP S\Retup Software , a message is dis\Rplayed to request the \Rpassword of administrator.
    wpWhen exiting the Easy IP\R Setup Software
    
    , the message “This program might not have installed correctl\Ry” is displayed.
    Solution
    Turn off User Account C\Rontrol (UAC) from the control\R panel of Windows Vista.
    1	Open the control pa\Rnel, and click “User Accounts”.
    2	 Select “User Accounts” from “User Accounts”.
    3	 Click “Turn User Account Contr\Rol On or Off ”.
    4	 Click the [Continue] button on the “User Account Contro\Rl” 
    window.
    5	 Uncheck “Use User Account Co\Rntrol (UAC) to help protect \Ryour 
    computer”. (Refer to the screensho\Rt.)
    6	 Click the [OK] button.

    Solution
    Check the font size (DPI) of screensh\Rot by clicking “Personalize”– “Adjust font size (DPI)”.
    If the DPI is set \Rto “Larger scale”, set\R to “Default scale”.

    Check “Display all websites in Compati\Rbility View” on the “Compatibility View Settings” window.
    1	Start up the web browser, and click “Tools” on the menu bar.
    2	 Click “Compatibility View Settings”.
    3	 Check “Display all websites in Compati\Rbility View”, and click the [Close] button.

    Solution
    After canceling the \Rsleep mode, reload the screen\R as necessary.
