Configuration Menu Overview 4-58 AUTO CON- TINUESettingsON/ OFF Select whether or not printing continues if the size or type of media in the selected tray is diff erent from the size or type of media for the print job. If AUTO CONTINUE is set to ON, printing automat ically contin- ues after about 10 seconds under the following conditions. At this time, printing will be performed even if the media size is dif- ferent. No media: PAPER EMPTY (page 9-42)/TRAY EMPTY (page 9-43) Different media size/type: P APER ERROR (page 9-42)/TRAY x PAPER ERR (page 9-44) HOLD JOB TIME- OUTSettingsDISABLE /1 hour/4 hours/1 day/ 1 week Specify the length of time until print jobs saved on the hard disk are deleted. If DISABLE is selected, print jobs are not deleted at a specific time. ENERGY SAVER TIMESettings5 minutes/6 minutes/7 minutes/8 minutes/9 minutes/10 minutes/11 minutes/12 minutes/13 minutes/14 minutes/ 15 minutes /30 minutes/ 1 hour/3 hours Specify the length of time until the machine enters Energy Saver mode. Configuration Menu Overview4-59 SECU- RITYCHANGE PASS- WORDSpecify the password for locking the control panel. If the password is set to 0000 (default), the control panel is not locked. In order to lock the control panel, be sure to specify a password other than 0000. LOCK PANELSettingsOFF/MINIMUM/ON Specify how the control panel is locked. If OFF is selected, the control panel is not locked. If MINIMUM is selected, the INTERFACE MENU and SYS DEFAULT MENU are protected with a password. If ON is selected, all menus are protected with a password. In order to lock the control panel, be sure to specify a password other than 0000. CLOCK DATE (xx.xx. xx) Specify the date for the printer’s internal clock. The date for Asia and China is set in the order year, month, then day ( YY.MM.DD). The date for the Americas is set in the order month, day, then year ( MM.DD.YY). The date for Europe is set in the order day, month, then year ( DD.MM.YY). TIMESpecify the time for the printer’s internal clock. TIME ZONESettings-12:00-00:00-+13:00 Specify the time zone. HDD FORMATUSER AREA ONLYInitialize the user area of the hard disk.
