Page 26 Setting Incoming Calls to Ring over Paging System This option allows incoming calls to ring over a paging system in addition to the operator. Anyone can pick up an extension and press “3” to answer the call. This is useful in business es wher e emp loyees are not seated at desks with phones, or where there is no dedicated receptionist/operator. Page 27 Central Office Lines - Programming Choices in Configuring Central Office (CO) Lines Each CO line should be configured so that it best suits your needs. The options that must be decided upon are described below. 1. Do you want to dial ‘9’ or ‘0’ to access an outside line? You can choose either ‘9’ or ‘0’ as the code for users to dial when requesting an outside line. 2. Are you using this CO line? Page 33 Recording a Voice Announcement This command allows you to record an announcement to greet callers. The recording can be made only from Extension #15 (or #07 for IPS 308 model).
