Solution 1: Install the print head and cartridgesSolution: Make sure that you follow the instructions in the Setup Guide for installing the print head and the ink cartridges. If you installed the print head and ink cartridges and the message still appears, remove and reinsert them using the following procedure. To reinstall the print head 1. To clean the print head a. Lightly dampen a cotton swab and wipe the electrical contact area from the bottom to the top. In order to avoid transferring ink and debris from the contact area to the nozzles, do not go past the edge of the print head. Use an many fresh swabs as necessary.
