    IMLtodisplaythecorrectlocaltime,youmustspecifythetimezoneinwhichtheserveris
    located.
    IfyouwantiLOtousethetimetheSNTPserverprovides,withoutadjustment,configureiLO
    touseatimezonethatdoesnotapplyanadjustmenttoUTCtime.Inaddition,thattimezone
    mustnotapplyaDaylightSavingsTime(SummerTime)adjustment.Thereareseveraltime
    zonesthatfitthisrequirement.OneexampleistheAtlantic/Reykjaviktimezone,whichis
    neithereastorwestofthePrimeMeridian,andinwhichthetimedoesnotchangeinthe
    springorfall.IfyouselecttheAtlantic/Reykjaviktimezone,iLOwebpagesandlogentries
    willdisplaytheexacttimeprovidedbytheSNTPserver.

    5.ConfiguretheNTPtimepropagationsettingbyselectingorclearingthePropagateNTPTime

    Thesesettingsareenabledbydefault,andtheydeterminewhethertheservertimeis
    synchronizedwiththeiLOtimeduringthefirstPOSTafterACpowerisapplied,abladeis
    inserted,oriLOisresettothedefaultsettings.
    ForBladeSystemsonly:WhenPropagateNTPorOATimetoHostisenabled,andNTPisnot
    configuredorfunctional,theservertimeissynchronizedwiththeOAtime.

    ConfiguringandusingtheiLOSharedNetworkPort
    TheiLOSharedNetworkPortfeatureenablesyoutochoosebetweentheSharedNetworkPort
    LOM,SharedNetworkPortEnabledStandupNIC,andtheiLODedicatedNetworkPortforserver
    management.WhenyouenabletheiLOSharedNetworkPort,regularnetworktrafficandiLO
    networktrafficpassthroughtheselectedSharedNetworkPortNIC.
    IfyouinstallaSharedNetworkPortEnabledStandupNIC,theSharedNetworkPortLOMisno
    longeravailabletosendandreceiveiLOnetworktraffic.ThattrafficwillgothroughtheiLO
    DedicatedNetworkPortortheSharedNetworkPortEnabledStandupNIC,dependingontheiLO
    configuration.
    IfyouinstallaSharedNetworkPortEnabledStandupNIC,youdonotneedtochangetheiLO
