9.Press the Margins/Layout button and select a layout option. If the job is 10 mm smaller in both dimensions than the page size you have chosen, select Standard margins . If the job is the same size as the page you ha ve chosen, and does not have 5 mm of white space around the edges, select Oversize. The final output will be larger than the page you selected, but you can cut the print to the correc t size without losing any of it. 10. Press the Add files button (or Choose File, Add another file) to choose the files from your computer that you want to print. The files must be in one of the following formats: ● HP-GL/2 ● RTL ● CALS/G4 ● PDF (with the PostScript upgrade only) ● PostScript (with the PostScript upgrade only) ● TIFF (with the PostScript upgrade only) ● JPEG (with the PostScript upgrade only) NOTE: When you print to a file, the file should be in one of the above formats, but its name may have an extension such as .plt or .prn . If the files are not in one of these format s, they will not be printed successfully. If the jobs have been generated wi th the appropriate settings (such as page size, rotation, resizing and number of copies), you can just press the Print button and the project will be sent to the printer. If you need to specify prin ting settings, go to the Job settings section and select the options you need. Each option has explanatory text on the right, so th at you can understand the behavior of each setting. Remember that, if you leave the setting as Default, the setting saved in the job will be used. If the job contains no setting, the setting in the printer will be used. Using printer emulation Printer emulation can be requested by selecting Advanced settings > Color > Color management > Printer emulation . You can select Off (no printer emulation) or the name of th e printer model that you want to emulate. Using clip contents by margins You can select this margins option from Advanced settings > Paper > Layout/Margins > Print with margins > Layout > Clip contents by margins . Use this option when the contents to be printed ha ve white borders and a size equal to that of the paper you have selected. The printer will use the wh ite border for its margins and you will get a page of size equal to that which is selected in the driver. Print a presentation This section demonstrates how to print a pr esentation from AutoCAD and from Photoshop. Using AutoCAD 1.Open the AutoCAD file and select a layout. 2.Click the Plot icon at the top of the window. 3. Ensure that the correct printe r is selected, then press the Properties button.
