mo che l’uso di questa sua macchina le riservi grandi soddisfazioni e risponda appieno
alle aspettative. Questo manuale è stato redatto per consentirle di conoscere bene la sua
macchina e di usarla in condizioni di sicurezza ed efficienza; non dimentichi che esso è
parte integrante della macchina stessa, lo tenga a portata di mano per consultarlo in ogni
momento e lo consegni assieme alla macchina il giorno in cui dovesse cederla o pre-
starla ad altri.
Questa sua nuova macchina è stata progettata e costruita secondo le normative vigenti,
risulta sicura ed affidabile se usata nel pieno rispetto delle indicazioni contenute in que-
sto manuale (uso previsto); qualsiasi altro impiego o l’inosservanza delle norme di sicu-
rezza d’uso, di manutenzione e riparazione indicate è considerato come “uso improprio”
e comporta il decadimento della garanzia e il declino di ogni responsabilità del
Costruttore, riversando sull’utilizzatore gli oneri derivanti da danni o lesioni proprie o a
terzi.
Nel caso dovesse riscontrare qualche leggera differenza fra quanto qui descritto e la
macchina in suo possesso, tenga presente che, dato il continuo miglioramento del pro-
dotto, le informazioni contenute in questo manuale sono soggette a modifiche senza
preavviso o obbligo di aggiornamento, fermo restando però le caratteristiche essenziali

Accoppiamento del tagliasiepi1. Inserire il tagliasiepi sul tubo del decespugliato-
re
2. Serrare la vite di fissaggio
3. Allentare la vite sul settore di aggiustamento,
regolare l’angolo secondo convenienza, serrare
nuovamente la vite.
Messa in servizio–Tagliare rami di diametro massimo 4.5 mm; tagli
di rami di diametro superiore può danneggiare il
tagliasiepi.
–Procedere all’aggiustamento dell’angolo di incli-
nazione lama SOLO a motore spento. Prima di
procedere alla rimozione di rami impigliati nelle
lame SPEGNERE il motore.
–Per l’avviamento del motore seguire le istruzioni
fornite nel manuale d’uso del decespugliatore.
–Procedere alla potatura operando al di fuori
della zona di caduta del materiale tagliato.
–In lavoro evitare sempre di avvicinare le lame
alle parti del corpo.
–A macchina ferma, applicare sempre la protezio-
ne lame.
Manutenzione ordinaria
ATTENZIONE: operare sempre a motore spento
CARTER RIDUTTORE LAME
–Provvedere ad ingrassare ogni 20 ore attraverso
gli ingrassatori presenti.
–Usare grasso a base di litio per alte temperatu-
re e pressioni estreme
N.B. : il vostro rivenditore dispone di materiali di
ottima qualità appositamente studiati per
garantire una elevata protezione degli organi
meccanici e quindi una lunga efficienza delle
macchine.
Rivolgetevi presso il vostro rivenditore di
fiducia.
LAME
–Verificare periodicamente il filo, evitare di lavo-
rare con lame non più affilate.
–Lubrificare le lame ad ogni rifornimento.
–Verificare il gioco tra le lame; quando compare,
provvedere ad una regolazione seguendo la
procedura di seguito illustrata: (fig. B, pag. 10)
• Allentare i dadi (rif. 6)
• Serrare a fondo le viti (rif.7), quindi tornare
indietro allentando le viti di 1/3 o 1/2 giro 
• Quando si serrano le viti (rif.7), avvicinare i
dadi (rif.6)
• Verificare che la rosetta piana (rif.8) forzata
con le dita, possa ruotare.
Un serraggio eccessivo delle lame ne impedisce il
movimento.
Al contrario, un gioco eccessivo favorisce l’impi-
gliarsi di materiale potato tra le lame.
Quando a causa dell’usura non è più possibile
riprendere il gioco tra le lame, procedere ad una
rettifica generale.
Per questa operazione rivolgeteVi presso una offi-
cina autorizzata.
AFFILATURA DELLE LAME
ATTENZIONE: operare indossando guanti anti-
taglio
L’affilatura delle lame è essenziale per un buon
lavoro di taglio; una buona affilatura si ottiene ope-
rando sull’apposito affilatore da banco.
È comunque possibile operare con una lima adat-
ta; in questo caso operare con il tagliasiepi monta-
to sulla barra, opportunamente fissata ad un banco
da lavoro.
Rispettare gli angoli di spoglia.

Connecting the hedge trimmer1. fit the hedge trimmer over the brush cutter tube
2. clamp the fixing screw
3. loosen the screw on the adjustment sector,
adjust the tilt suitably and clamp the screw
again.
Setting at work–Cut branches up to a maximum diameter of 4.5
mm; cutting branches with a larger diameter
could damage the hedge trimmer.
–ONLY adjust the tilt angle with the motor swit-
ched off. SWITCH OFF the motor before remo-
ving any branches caught up in the blades.
–To start the motor follow the instructions provi-
ded in the brush cutter user manual.
–Cut the hedge working outside the area in which
cut material falls.
–Never bring the blades close to body parts while
working.
–Always fit the blade guards when the device is
switched off.
Ordinary maintenance
CAUTION: always work with the motor swit-
ched off.
BLADE REDUCTION GEAR GUARD
–Lubricate every 20 hours through the grease
nipples provided.
–Only use lithium-based grease for high tempera-
tures and extreme pressures.
N.B. : your dealer has materials of excellent
quality, specifically designed to guarantee a
high level of protection to mechanical parts and
lasting efficiency to machines.
Contact your local dealer.
BLADES
–Check the cutting edge at regular intervals; do
not work with blunt blades.
–Lubricate the blades with each refill.
–Check clearance between the blades; when this
occurs, adjust them according to the procedure
below: (fig. B, page 14).
• Loosen the nuts (ref. 6)
• Clamp the screws fully (ref. 7), then loosen
them again by 1/3 or 1/2 turn
• When clamping the screws (ref. 7) draw the
nuts close (ref. 6)
• Check that the flat washer (ref. 8) can rotate
when moved by hand.
If the blades are clamped too tightly their move-
ment is obstructed. On the other hand, if there is
excessive clearance this causes cut material to get
caught between the blades.
When it is no longer possible to adjust the clearan-
ce between the blades due to wear, have them
generally reconditioned. Contact an authorized
workshop to have this operation performed.
SHARPENING THE BLADES
CAUTION: perform using protective gloves 
The blades must be sharp in order to obtain a good
cut; correct sharpening is attained using an appro-
priate bench sharpening machine. 
However, it is also possible to use a suitable file; in
this case work with the hedge trimmer fitted on the
bar, suitably fixed to a workbench.
Observe the cutting angles.
