Choose the information displayed in the optical viewfinder or in the electronic viewfinder and LCD monitor. Select [DISP. CUSTOM SETTING] in the shooting menu. 1. When using an optional WCL-X100 wide conversion lens, select [WIDE] for [CONVERSION LENS] . An icon will be displayed. Because the optical viewfinder does not cover the full field of view of the conversion lens, the bright frame is replaced by brackets showing approximately 80% of the field of view. For accurate framing, compose pictures using the electronic viewfinder or LCD monitor. The built-in flash may fail to light the entire subject. Adjust settings for interval timer photography.Select [INTERVAL TIMER SHOOTING] in the shooting menu to display interval timer shooting options. 1. Use the selector to choose the inte rval and number of shots. Press [MENU/OK] to proceed.2. Use the selector to choose the starting time and then press [MENU/OK]. Shooting will start automatically.3. Interval timer photography can not be used during panorama or multiple exposure photography. In burst mode, only one pict ure will be taken each time the shutter is released. Use of a tripod is recommended. Check the battery level before starting. The display turns off between shots and lights a few seconds before the next shot is taken. OFF Use the timer for self-portraits or to prevent blur caused by camera shake. The shutter is released two seconds afte r the shutter button is pressed. Use to reduce blur caused by the camera moving when the shutter button is pressed. The self-timer lamp will blink as the timer counts down. The shutter is released ten seconds afte r the shutter button is pressed. Use for self-portraits.
