							Copying Options
Select the copying options you want to use for your copies.
Note:Not all options or settings may be available, depending on other copying settings.
Copying option Available settings Description
Density Various levels Adjusts the lightness or darkness of copies
Layout Borderless Expands the image to the edge of the paper (slight cropping
may occur)
With Border Leaves a small margin around the image
Reduce/Enlarge Actual Size Copies at 100% size, unless you select a different
percentage as theCustom Sizesetting
Auto Fit Page Automatically sizes the image to fit the selected paper size
setting
Custom Size Automatically sizes the image by the percentage you select
as theCustom Size setting
Paper Size Various sizes Selects the paper size for the copy printout
Paper Type Plain Paper Adjusts printer settings for the selected paper type
Photo Paper
Quality Best Provides best quality for photo copies
Standard Quality Provides good quality for most copies
Draft Provides lower quality for draft copies

Copying and Restoring Photos You can restore the colors in faded photos as you copy them.
1. Load photo paper in the product.
2. Press the home button, if necessary.
3. Press the left or right arrow buttons, select More Functions, and press theOKbutton.
4. Select Copy/Restore Photos and press theOKbutton.

5. Press the down arrow button to select Onand press the OKbutton.
6. Place up to two original photos on the product.
Note: Press the up or down arrow button for instructions on placing your photos on the product.

							8. Press the left or right arrow buttons to scroll through your photos and display one that you want to
copy.
9. Press the +or –buttons to select one or more copies of the photo (up to 99).
10. If you placed two originals on the scanner, press the left or right arrow button to view the second original, then press the +or –buttons to select one or more copies of the photo (up to 99).
11. To select settings for the photos, press the down arrow button. You see this screen:
12. Do one of the following: • To change the display setting for the LCD screen, select Display Options, press theOKbutton,
and select the setting you want.
• To change the print settings, select Print Settings, press theOKbutton, and select the necessary
settings.
• To crop or zoom into your photo, select Crop/Zoom, press theOKbutton, and press the arrow
buttons and the +or –buttons to adjust the selection area and location.
13. When you are ready to print, press the start button.

							Printing From a Computer
Before printing from your computer, make sure you have set up your product and installed its software
as described on the Start Heresheet.
Note: If you have an Internet connection, it is a good idea to check for updates to your product software
on Epsons support website. If you see a Software Update screen, select Enable automatic checking
and click OK. The update scans your system to see if you have the latest product software. Follow the
on-screen instructions.

1. Open a photo or document for printing.

							2. Select the print command in your application.
Note: You may need to select a print icon on your screen, the Printoption in the File menu, or
another command. See your applications help utility for details.
3. If necessary, select your product name as the printer you want to use. Note: You may also need to select PropertiesorPreferences to view your print settings.

							4. Select the
Quality Option setting that matches your print content and the print quality you want to
use.
5. Select the type of paper you loaded as the Typesetting.
Note: The setting may not exactly match the name of your paper. Check the paper type settings list
for details.
6. Select the size of the paper you loaded as the Sizesetting.
Note: You can also select the User Definedsetting to create a custom paper size.
7. Select one of the border options: • If you are printing a borderless photo, select Borderless.
Note: You must select a compatible borderless paper type and size to print without borders.
Check the borderless paper compatibility list for details.
• If you are printing a document or a photo with borders, select Borders.
8. Select the orientation of your document or photo as shown in the printer settings window.
Note: If you are printing an envelope, select Landscape.
9. Select any of the available print options.
Note: If you need to access the Epson product support website, click the Online Supportbutton.

							Basic Print Options - Windows
You can select any of the basic print options to customize your print. Some options may be pre-selected
or unavailable, depending on other settings you have chosen.
Fix PhotoImproves the color, contrast, and sharpness of flawed photos.
Note: Fix Photo uses a sophisticated face recognition technology to optimize photos that include
faces. For this to work, both eyes and the nose must be visible in the subjects face. If your photo
includes a face with an intentional color cast, such as a statue, you may want to turn off Fix Phototo
retain the special color effects.
Fix Red-Eye Reduces or removes red-eye in photos.
Reverse Order Prints multi-page print jobs last page first.
Print Preview Displays a preview of your printout before printing.
Black/Grayscale Prints text and graphics in black or shades of gray.
Quiet Mode Lessens noise during printing when you select Plain Paper/Bright White Paperas the paper Type or
Media Type setting.
