Account codes are used to identify calls by category or by any other desired grouping, so that
the system can record costing by that category. You can arrange the system to force the user to
enter an account code and have the system verify it before it allows the user to make a call. Turn

An account code can be a minimum of three digits or a maximum of 16 digits.

Authorization codes provide system users the mobility to use their class of service (COS)
features, prime line assignments, and exception numbers on any telephone in the system instead
of being limited by what is available to the particular telephone they happen to be using.
