3. REMOVE THE LAMP MODULE
 Protective gear required. Wear a face shield.
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two (2) lock screws securing the lamp door, which is located at the 
rear of the projector below the Input panel. See Figure 5-1.

4. UNSCREW HANDLE
Unscrew the knob on the insertion/removal handle either by hand or using a Phillips screwdriver. See Figure 5-

5. REMOVE THE LAMP MODULE
Make sure the lamp insertion/removal handle hook is located behind the lamp module (Figure 5-3) and pull 
lamp module off of electrical terminal by pulling on the insertion/removal handle. Carefully pull on the lamp 
module handle to remove the lamp. If the lamp is to be discarded, follow safe disposal/recycling procedures.

8. SECURE THE INSERTION/REMOVAL LEVER
Secure the insertion/removal lever by threading the know into the threaded block by hand or using a Phillips 
screwdriver. See Figure Figure 5-5.

9. CLOSE THE LAMP DOOR
Using a Phillips screwdriver, secure the lamp door.

 Only use Christie approved filters. See Table 5.1.

3. REPLACE FILTER
Remove the old filter and insert the new one. 
NOTE: The direction arrows on the outside edge of the filter. 
Ensure the filter is installed with the arrows pointing into the projector.
4. RE-INSTALL THE FILTER DOOR
Secure the lock screw.

3. While holding the lens flat against the lens mount, rotate the lens clamp clockwise to lock the lens 
assembly in place. See Figure 5-9 .

5.3 Cleaning the Lens
Check periodically. A small amount of dust or dirt on the lens has minimal effect on image quality. To avoid 
the risk of scratching the lens, clean only if absolutely necessary.
Dust:
1. Brush most of the dust from the lens with a camel-hair brush and/or blow dust away with a dust-free 
blower.
2. Fold a microfibre cloth smooth and gently wipe remaining dust particles from the lens....

Refilling Liquid Coolant Module
1. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the fill port cap and the air vent cap. See Figure 5-11.
2. Using a funnel and coolant, fill the liquid cooling module until the coolant is within 2mm of the top cover.
3. Using a flat head screwdriver, replace the fill port cap and the air vent cap.

5.6 Ventilation
Slots and vents in the projector provide ventilation. Never block or cover these openings. This ensures reliable 
operation of the projector and prevents overheating.
• Do not place the projector over a radiator or heat register. The projector should not be placed in an enclosure 
unless proper ventilation is provided.
