The \brinter driver will convert a\b\blication software’s \brint data to \brint data for the \brinter. 4-3 Printing from a Computer Scaling Docu\fents You can enlarge or reduce documents to match the output paper size. There are two methods for scaling a document: select the output size of the document to scale it automatically, or specify the scaling value manually. 1 Click [P\fge Setup]. NOTE For instructions on how to dis\blay the \brinter driver screen, see “Printing” or “Configuring the Default Print Settings” in the e-Manual. 2 Select p\fper size of the document you cre\fted in the \fpplic\ftion from [P\fge Size]. 3 Select output size of the document from [Output Size]. The document is scal\Ied automatically according to the settings made in [Page Size] and [Out\but Size]. 4 If you w\fnt to incre\fse or decre\fse the m\fgnific\ftion m\fnu\flly, select [M\fnu\fl Sc\fling] → specify the sc\fling\F r\ftio for [Sc\fling]. 5 Click [OK]. NOTE • De\bending on the sel\Iected \bage size and \brinter model you are using, you may not be able to magnify the document. • De\bending on the \brinter model you are using, you may not be able to magnify the document t\Io the o\btimum ratio\I for the selected \bage size. • The dis\blay may differ according to the o\berating sys\Item, as well as the ty\be and version of the \brinter driver. Printing Multiple Pages on One Sheet Multiple pages can \fe printed on one sheet of paper. You can reduce and print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper. You can place 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 16 pages of documents on a single sheet of paper. \bsing this feature, you can make materials that are easy to view. Also, this feature helps you to save paper, and save space when storing. 1 Click [P\fge Setup]. NOTE If you cannot select the o\btions for [Page Layout], dis\blay the [Device Settings] sheet, an\Id then select [Auto] or [Enabled] from [S\booling at Host].\I For instructions on how to dis\blay the [Device Settings] sheet, se\Ie “Setting the Printer O\btions” in the e-Manual. 3 Select the p\fge order from [P\fge Order]. The out\but image is d\Iis\blayed in the \breview area. 4 Click [OK]. NOTE • You cannot enlarge and reduce manually when \Iusing this function. • Although there may be a function for \brinting multi\ble co\bie\Is de\bending on the a\b\I\blication you are using, do not use it together with this \Ifunction. If you do, \brinting may not be executed correctly. • The dis\blay may differ according to the o\berating sys\Item, as well as the ty\be and version of the \brinter driver. 1-sided Printing and 2-sided P\Rrinting (MF8380Cdw Only) You can select whether to print on one side or \foth sides of each sheet of paper. The default setting is 2-sided printing. IMPORT\bNT Precautions on 2-sided\R printing Do not touch your document when m\Iaking 2-sided co\bying until the \brocess is com\blete. After co\bying on the front side is com\blete, the document is \b\Iartially out\but, reserved, and fed into the machine again \Ifor co\bying on the back s\Iide. Printing to the back side of\R printed docu\fent (Manual 2-sided printing) Manual 2-sided \brinting is available even for a document which\I is not available for 2-sided \brinting by using a multi-\bur\bose tray (manual feed slot) for the back side* \Iof the \brinted document. When you want to \brint the back side \Iof the \brinted document, stretch ends of the doc\Iument and then set \Ithe document to the multi-\bur\bose tray (manual feed slot) one by one. * This feature is available only for sheets which were \brinted with this \broduct. You cannot \brint on the same si\Ide of the document \I which was \brinted. * If you are using A5 \ba\ber, the reverse side may not be \brinted correctly. 1 Click [Finishing]. NOTE For instructions on how to dis\blay the \brinter driver screen, see “Printing” or “Configuring the Default Print Settings” in the e-Manual. 2 Select [1-sided Printing] or [2-sided \FPrinting] from [Print Style].

Checking and Canceling Print Jobs You can check detailed information a\fout print jo\fs or cancel print jo\fs in the middle of currently printing or waiting. NOTE If the Processing/Data Indicator on the operation panel is: Turned on/\flinking A jo\f is \feing processed. Turned off No jo\fs are in the memory.
