The no-compromise design of the Cine VERSUM System link allows for a throughput of 1,063 GB per second and per color to be achieved, resulting in a data streaming digital video distribution over the link of 3,18 GB per second. Designed to provide the user with ulti-mate flexibility, the link allows for distances of up to 40 meters between each module. As such it is possible to connect up to a maximum of 32 different Cine VERSUM System display modules to one single Cine VERSUM Master over a total cable length of 1280 meters! BARCO’s Cine VERSUM System digital link comes in two different versions: a flexible cable for shorter distances (SL link) and a more shielded, rigid cable for longer distances (XL link). The length of the rigid cable can be custom made according to the requirements of each individual installation, up to a maximum length of 40 meters. 7. Connections 7.3.2 Digital Link to One Display How to link The digital output module on the Cine VERSUM Master is provided with one single output cable connector for SL type cable (for both video and communication). Insert the plugs of the patch cord respectively into High Speed Link OUT on the digital module of the Cine VERSUM Master and Link IN on the Cine VERSUM 50 (image 7-14),Cine VERSUM 80 (image 7-15), or Cine VERSUM 120 (image 7-16) To preserve image performances, limit the length of the patch cable, when using cable of type SL, to 15 m. For longer distances between both units, cable of type XL is recommended.
