High contrast textSwitch to enable high contrast text.
Auto-rotate screenSet the screen to rotate automatically when the tablet is rotated.
Speak passwordsSet the tablet to read passwords as they are entered.
Accessibility shortcutTap to turn on/off the Accessibility shortcut.
Text-to-speech outputSet text-to-speech options.
Touch & hold delayTap to adjust the duration of touch and hold delay. This function 
enables your tablet to differ tap and tap & hold, which may avoid 
incorrect operations.
Stereo and monoTap to set Stereo or mono.
Sound balanceTap to set sound balance.
Persistent alertsMark the checkbox to enable persistent alerts.
Color inversionSetting up color inversion may affect performance.
Color correctionTap to set color correction.

Printing
The Printing menu lets you configure Google's Cloud Print service. You can connect your printer to 
your Google Account and then add the printer on your tablet in the Printing menu. After that, you can 
send documents, pictures, emails, or Web pages from your tablet to the printer wirelessly and have 
them printed out.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings .
 2. Tap Printing > Add service to find a printer to install, then you can use it.
Note: To use Cloud Print, you need to add a Google Account to your device. 
Activate this Device
The Activate this device menu lets you activate a new tablet or use additional self-service options 
such as checking the status of an in-service tablet.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings

 2. Tap Activate this Device.
The Device Self Service menu appears.
 3. Follow the onscreen prompts to activate your tablet.
Your tablet activates.
System Updates
System updates allows the device to search for the latest software version and update your tablet's 
software.

Troubleshooting
Check the questions and answers below for troubleshooting solutions for common tablet issues.
Check Here First
Question: Tablet freezes/operation is unstable.
Answer: Turn the tablet on again. If you are unable to turn the tablet off, touch and hold the 
Power/Lock key to restart the tablet. Data that was being edited is erased after your tablet is 
powered on again.
Question: Operation is unstable after a new application was installed.
Answer: The newly installed application may be the cause. Uninstall the application in Safe 
mode. See Uninstall an App. To turn the tablet on in Safe mode:
 l Press and hold the Power/Lock key > touch and hold Power off, read the disclaimer for 
safe mode, and then tap OK.
 o After turning the tablet on in Safe mode, "Safe Mode" appears at lower left.
 o After restarting in Safe mode, your tablet can be powered on as usual.
 o Before turning the tablet on in Safe mode, it is recommended that you back up important 
data.
 o By powering the tablet on in Safe mode, added widgets may be deleted.
Question: Cannot use tablet, mail, or Internet.
Answer 1: Check whether you are where signal is weak or out of service area.
Answer 2: Power the tablet on again.
Answer 3: Is the tablet in Airplane mode? To check that Airplane mode is cancelled:
 l From home, tap Apps  > Settings  > More > Airplane mode.
Answer 4: Is data communication disabled? To check that data communication is enabled:
 l From home, tap Apps  > Settings  > Data usage > Cellular data.
Question: Battery level goes down quickly.

Answer: Are you where signal is weak or have been out of service area for a long period? Using 
the tablet where signal is weak or being out of service area uses a lot of Battery.
Question: Cannot install applications.
Answer: Applications cannot be installed with only a little free space on the tablet or SD card. To 
check free space, see Storage Settings. Applications not supported by your tablet cannot be 
installed.
Question: Cannot unlock screen.
Answer: Power the tablet on again. If you are unable to turn the tablet off, touch and hold the 
Power/Lock key to restart the tablet. Data that was being edited is erased after the tablet is 
powered on again.
