Add a VPN Connection 
Use the VPN settings menu to add a VPN connection to your tablet.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings . 
 2. Tap More > VPN.
The VPN settings window appears.
 3. Tap , and then enter the information for the VPN you want to add.

 l Information may include Name, Type, Server address, PPP encryption (MPPEyf, and 
advanced options.
 l Set up all options according to the security details you have obtained from your network 
administrator.
 4. Tap SAVE. 
Your VPN is added to the VPNs section of the VPN settings window.
Connect to or Disconnect from a VPN 
Once you have set up a VPN connection, connecting and disconnecting from the VPN is easy.
Access the VPN Settings Window
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings .

 2. Tap More > VPN.
The VPN settings window appears.
Connect to a VPN
 1. From the VPN setting window, tap the VPN that you want to connect to.

 2. When prompted, enter your login credentials, and then tap Connect. 
You will connect to the selected VPN. 
 l When you are connected, a VPN connected icon  appears in the status bar.
 3. Open the Web browser to access resources such as intranet sites on your corporate network.
Disconnect from a VPN
 1. From the VPNs section of the VPN setting window, tap the VPN that you want to disconnect to .

 2. Tap the VPN to enter the VPN information window.

 3. Tap DISCONNECT to disconnect from it. 
 
Your tablet disconnects from the VPN.
 l When your tablet has disconnected from the VPN, the VPN connection icon  in the 
status bar will disappear.
Status Bar Settings
You can set the battery percentage to show on status bar or not.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings .

 2. Tap Status bar.
 3. Tap the checkbox to set status battery percentage.
Your battery percentage will show on the status bar.
Display Settings
Adjusting your tablet’s display settings not only helps you see what you want, it can also help 
increase battery life.

Sound & Notification Settings
The Sound settings menu lets you control your tablet’s audio, from ringtones and alerts to tap tones 
and notifications.

The sound settings menu allows you to configure the following options:

Internal storageView the total space/free space in your tablet memory and in an 
optional installed SD card.
Unmount SD cardIf an optional SD card is installed, tap to unmount the card to allow for 
safe removal.
Mount SD cardIf an optional SD card is installed, tap to mount the card and make it 
available for use.
Erase SD cardIf an optional SD card is installed, tap to erase all data stored on the 
card and prepare it for use by your tablet.
Access Storage Settings
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings .
 2. Tap Storage.
 3. Check or tap items.
Review your storage settings.
Battery Settings
Monitor your tablet’s battery usage through this settings menu. View which functions are consuming 
your battery’s charge and show usage percentage.
