Now you can change some settings for your Gmail account.
Email
Use the Mail application to send and receive email from your webmail or other accounts, using 
POP3 or IMAP, or access your Exchange Active Sync account for your corporate email needs.
Set Up an Email Account 
Your tablet supports several types of email accounts and allows you to have multiple email accounts 
set up at one time.
Before setting up an email account, make sure you have the username (user IDyf, password, server 
name, etc., so you can get set up successfully.
 1. From home, tap Email .

A popup window for adding an account appears if no email account has been previously set 
up.
 2. Follow the onscreen instructions to set up your email account.
The email account is set up and you will begin receiving email.
Add an Email Account 
You can add several types of personal email accounts, such as POP3 and IMAP accounts, on your 
tablet.
Add an Email Account from the Email App
You can add email accounts directly from the email app, even if you have another email account set 
up.
 1. From home, tap Email .
The email inbox opens.
 2. Tap Menu  > Settings.

 3. Tap Add account on the screen. 
 4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the account setup.
The email account is added and you will begin receiving email for the account.
Add an Email Account from the Settings Menu
You can also set up email accounts from the Settings > Accounts menu.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accounts > Add account > POP3.

 2. Enter the Email address for the email account and then tap MANUAL SETUP.
 3. Enter the required information:
 
 l Username: Enter your network username. 
 l Password: Enter your network access password (case-sensitiveyf.

 l Server: Enter your system’s server remote email address. Obtain this information from your 
company network administrator. 
 l Port: Enter your port number.
 l Security type: Tap to select a security type. 
 4. Follow the onscreen prompts to configure options for the account.
 5. Select your sync settings and then tap NEXT.
 6. Enter an account name and a display name and tap NEXT to complete setup.
The email account is set up and you will begin receiving email for the account.
Important: If the account type you want to set up is not in the tablet database, you will be asked to 
enter more details. You should get all pertinent information for the email account, such as incoming 
and outgoing server settings, before you proceed.
Add an Exchange Account 
If you synchronize your tablet with your Exchange account, you can read, manage, and send email 
in the same easy way as with a POP3/IMAP account. However, you can also access some powerful 
Exchange features. 
Important: Before setting up an Exchange Account, contact your company’s Exchange Server 
administrator for required account settings information.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accounts > Add account > Exchange. 
 2. Enter the Email address for the email account and then tap Manual setup.

 l Username: Enter your network username. 
 l Password: Enter your network access password (case-sensitiveyf. 
 l Client certificate: Tap to select a client certificate.
 l Server: Enter your system’s Exchange server remote email address. Obtain this information

 l Security type: Tap to select a security type. 
 l Port: Enter your port number.
 4. Follow the onscreen prompts to configure options for the account. 
 5. Enter an account name and a display name and tap Done to complete setup.
Your corporate email account is set up and you will begin receiving email for the account.
Compose and Send Email
Compose and send email using any account you have set up on your tablet. Increase your 
productivity by attaching files such as pictures, videos, or documents to your email messages.
 1. From home, tap Email .

 l If you want to switch to a different email account, tap the account name at the top of the 
screen and select another account.
 2. From the inbox, tap  to compose a new email message.
The email composition window opens.
 3. Enter the message recipient(syf, subject, and message.
 l You can add multiple recipients to an email message.
 l To add recipients from Contacts, tap select the contact(syf you wish to include, and then 
tap .
 4. Enter the email subject and message.
 l To add an attachment to the message, tap , select an attachment type and an attachment.
 5. Tap Send .
The email message is sent.
Open Email Messages
You can also open and read email messages directly from the email inbox. Reading and replying to 
email on your tablet is as simple as on your computer.
 1. From home, tap Email .

Tip: Tap the account name at the top of the screen to switch to a different email account.
 3. Tap Reply  or tap Menu  > Reply all to reply to the message.
Options When Reviewing Email Messages
 n Mark Mail as Unread: Touch and hold a read email message and then tap .
 n Deleting Email: Touch and hold the email message and then tap Delete . 
 n Replying to Email Messages: With an email message open, tap Reply  or tap Menu  > 
Reply all, compose your reply message, and tap Send .
 n Forwarding Email Messages: With the email message open, tap to enter Forward screen, 
then enter a recipient and an additional message, and tap Send .
Delete an Email Account
You can delete an email account from your tablet if you no longer wish to receive messages for the 
account on your tablet.
 1. From home, tap Email .

 2. Tap Menu  > Settings.
 3. Select the account(syf to delete, and then tap Remove account.
 4. Tap CONTINUE to confirm.
The account is deleted from your tablet.
Manage Your Email Inbox 
Your email inbox provides management options for viewing, sorting, and deleting your email 
messages.
View Your Email Inbox
 1. From home, tap Email . 
The email inbox opens.
 2. Tap the email account at the top of the screen to select a different inbox, or tap Combined view 
to see all your email inboxes at once.
 
Refresh an Email Account
Whatever your automatic synchronization settings are, you can also synchronize your sent and 
received email messages manually at any time.
 n While viewing the account you want to synchronize, tap Sync.

Delete an Email Message
 1. On the email account inbox, touch and hold the message you want to delete.
 2. On the options menu, tap .
Delete Multiple Email Messages
 1. On the email account inbox, tap the check box next to the messages you want to delete.
 2. Tap Delete .
Exchange Email Features 
Set options for your corporate Exchange email messages, including synchronization options, 
flagging messages, out-of-office messages, meeting requests, and message priority.
Synchronize Exchange Email
You can set Exchange to automatically check for new Exchange email messages.
Flag Email Messages
For an Exchange account, you can flag email messages to help you keep track of them.
Set Out of Office Status
You can set your Out of Office status and auto-reply message right from your tablet.

is loading the requested service, the touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard may appear unresponsive
