Set Your Network Options
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Settings  > More > Cellular networks. 
 2. Slideto turn on Data enabled. 
 
 3. Tap Preferred network type.

The tablet will scan for the best available 4G LTE network and will automatically connect to it.
When your tablet is connected via 4G LTE network, the LTE icon  appears in the status bar.
Note: The enhanced 4G LTE network is self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are 
required for your tablet to connect to it.
Data Connection Status and Indicators 
Your tablet displays the current status of your data connection through indicators at the top of the 
screen. The following symbols are used:
IconStatus
Network (full signalyf: The number of bars indicate the strength of the signal. More 
bars mean a better signal.
4G LTE data service: Your tablet is connected to the 4G LTE network. 
Chrome Browser
In addition to the default "Internet" Web browser, your tablet supports the Chrome mobile Web 
browser. If you are signed in with a Google Account, the Chrome browser will import all your 
bookmarks and other Web preferences for use on your tablet.
 1. From home, tap Apps  > Chrome .

 n To find on-tablet help with Chrome, from Chrome, tap Menu  > Help & Feedback.
A Web page will open displaying Google help for Chrome.

Use the Chrome Browser
Launching the Chrome browser is as easy as tapping an icon.
 n From home, tap Chrome .

 l The first time you launch Internet, you may be prompted to enter your 10-digit wireless 
phone number to access the Sprint home page.
 l You can also launch the Chrome browser by tapping a URL in a text message, email 
message, or Gmail message.
Browser Use Options
 n Searching within a Web Page: With a Web page displayed, tap Menu  > Find in page, and 
enter your search text.
Tip: To turn off the tablet’s default launch page, tap Menu  > Settings > Home page >  Off.
Add a Bookmark
Bookmark favorite sites using the Chrome browser menu options.
 1. From home, tap Chrome . 
The browser opens.
 2. Navigate to the Web page you want to bookmark, and tap .

The add bookmark window opens.
 3. Check or change the bookmark title, URL, etc., and then tap Save. 
The Web page is added to bookmarks.
Bookmark Options
 n Editing Bookmarks: From the browser, tap Menu  > Bookmarks, select a bookmark folder to 
open, touch and hold a bookmark, tap Edit bookmark, edit the bookmark, and then tap Save.
 n Deleting Bookmarks: From the browser, tap Menu  > Bookmarks, select a bookmark folder 
to open, touch and hold a bookmark, tap Remove.
 n Show Saved Web Pages: From the browser, tap Menu  > Bookmarks, select a bookmark 
folder to open, and then tap a saved page to open it.
View Chrome Browser History
Use the browser menu options to view your browsing history.
 1. From home, tap Chrome . 
The Chrome browser opens.
 2. Tap Menu  > History and then tap an entry.

Open New Browser Tabs
Use tabbed browsing to switch between websites quickly and easily.
 1. From home, tap Chrome .  
The browser opens.
 2. Tap Menu  > New tab, or you can tap on the top window to open a new tab.
A new tab appears.
 l To switch tabs, tap one of the available thumbnails in the tabs window.

Customize your experience with the Internet through the browser settings menu.
 1. From home, tap Chrome .

Camera and Video
You can use the camera or video camera to take and share pictures and videos. Your tablet comes 
with a 5 megapixel camera with an autofocus feature that lets you capture sharp pictures and videos.
Camera Overview
The camera's viewfinder screen lets you view your subject and access camera controls and options.
 n   Switch view mode: Switch between the back camera lens and the front-facing camera lens 
(for self-portraits, video chatting, etc.yf.
 n   HDR mode: Select HDR mode for the camera.
 n   Settings: Opens the camera settings menu and lets you change additional camera settings.

Note: You can customize the onscreen shortcuts on the left side of the screen. Drag the screen from 
left to right and additional options may include Store location, Picture size, Countdown timer, 
Storage position, Continuous shot, Face detection, Select ISO, and Shutter tone volume.

Capturing Pictures/Videos
 n File Format for Pictures: File format for pictures is JPEG.
 n File Format for Videos: File format for videos is MPEG4.
Camera Cautions
If Lens Becomes Dirty: Fingerprints/smudges on lens prevent capturing of clear still 
images/videos. Wipe lens with a soft cloth beforehand.
Avoid Exposure to Direct Sunlight: Be careful not to expose lens to direct sunlight for long 
periods. May discolor color filter and affect color of images.
Mobile Light Warning
Do not shine Mobile Light close to eyes. Do not look directly at Mobile Light when shining. Do not 
shine Mobile Light at other people's eyes. This may affect eyesight, etc.
Take a Picture
You can take high-resolution pictures using your tablet’s camera.
Note: Pictures and videos are saved to your tablet’s memory.
 1. From home, tap Camera .
The camera viewfinder appears.
 2. Aim the camera at your subject and then tap .

The shutter clicks and the picture is captured and saved to your tablet or SD card.
