Display Options
Allows you to change Date Book’s appearance 
and which events display.
nShow Time Bars: Activates the time bars that 
appear in the Day View. The time bars show 
the duration of an event and illustrate event 
conflicts.
nCompress Day View: Controls how times appear 
in the Day View. When Compress Day View 
is off, all time slots display. When it is on, 
start and end times display for each event, but 
blank time slots toward the bottom of the 
screen...

Preferences
nStart/End Time: Define the start and end times for 
Date Book screens. If the time slots you select 
do not fit on one screen, you can tap the scroll 
arrows   to scroll up and down.
nAlarm Preset: Automatically sets an alarm for 
each new event. The silent alarm for untimed 
events is defined by minutes, days, or hours 
before midnight of the date of the event. 
nAlarm Sound: Sets the tone of the alarm.
nRemind Me: Defines how many times the alarm 
sounds. The choices are...

Address Book
Address Book is the application in which you store name and address 
information about people or businesses.
Creating an Address Book entry
A record in Address Book is called an “entry.” You can create entries 
on your organizer, or you can use Palm Desktop software to create 
entries on your computer and then download the entries to your 
organizer with your next HotSync operation.

To Do List
A To Do List item is a reminder of some task that you have to 
complete. A record in To Do List is called an “item.”
To create a To Do List item:
1. Press the To Do List application button   on the front of your 
organizer to display the To Do List.
2. Tap New.
3. Enter the text of the To Do List item. The text can be longer than 
one line.
4. Tap anywhere onscreen to deselect the To Do List item.

To set the priority of a To Do List item:
1. Tap the Priority number on the left side of the To Do List item.
2. Tap the Priority number that you want to set (1 is most important).

complete the To Do item, and you can choose to show or hide
