FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM 8-52 Fault code No. 30 SymptomLatch up detected. No normal signal is received from the lean angle sensor. Diagnostic code No. 08 Lean angle sensor Orde rItem/components and probable causeCheck or maintenance jobReinstatement method 1 The vehicle has overturned. Raise the vehicle upright. Turning the main switch to “ON” (however, the engine can- not be restarted unless the main switch is first turned to “OFF”). 2 Installed state of the lean angle sen- sor.Check the installed direction and condition of the sensor. 3 Defective lean angle sensor. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code No.08) Replace if defective. Refer to CHECKING THE LEAN ANGLE SENSOR on page 8-92.
