Making sure that the stack feed bypass, the
automatic duplexing unit and the side cover are
opened, open the exit cover.

Open the offset tray cover or job separator cover (if
installed).Paper Misfeeds in the Exit Unit

Remove any misfeed paper inside the exit unit.
4
After removing all paper, close the offset tray cover
or job separator cover (if installed). Close the exit
cover and the right side cover.  Return the duplex
unit to its normal position (if installed)....

 Paper Misfeed in the Finisher

Lifting the blue lever, pull out any misfed paper.

Remove any misfed paper in the paper exit area.

By pulling the lever, move the finisher carefully away
from the copier.

If the following message remains displayed, repeat the above
procedure from steps 1 to 4.
Set staple cartridge

Turn the staple cartridge to its normal position and
push it back into the stapler.
Insert the cartridge until it is caught by the claw and fixed
with a click sound.

Pull out the seal holding the staples straight.

Peel off the tape from the case.

Attach the cartridge to the stapler.
Insert the cartridge until it clicks.

Close the staple cover.

With copier power on, insert a sheet of paper into
the stapler several times to advance the staples into
position.  (5 to 10 times)

Remove the jammed staple using a tapered object.

Press down and replace the staple guide.
Use this procedure to remove jammed staples.
Be sure to 
turn off the copier before removing the jammed staples.

Slide forward and lift up the staple cover.

Press the lever (1) and pull up the staple guide knob
(2).
