Setting the Reception Mode 30 Setting the Reception Mode Your fax has three modes for receiving incoming faxes: FA X mode: Select this mode when you only want to receive faxes on your line. The fax machine will automatically answer all calls on four rings and receive incoming faxes. Note: The resolution and contrast settings are only effective for sending a document. They are not effective for receiving a document.
