31 Preparations 1 1 Preparations 1.2.4 Remote Control zUsing other display devices in the same space as the remote control of this product can cause the other display devices to be inadvertently controlled. zRemote control button functions may differ for different products. Power off the product. Not available. Return to the previous menu. Change the channel in TV mode. Select a connected source device. Display or hide the onscreen display menu, or return to the previous menu. Move to the upper, lower, left or right menu, or adjust an option's setting. Confirm a menu selection. Mute the sound. Unmuting the sound: Press MUTE again or press the volume control (+ VOL -) button. Adjust the volume. Press to select additional channels (digital) being broadcasted by the same station. For example, to select channel “54-3”, press “54”, then press “-” and “3”. Display information on the screen. Exit the current menu. Use these buttons in Videos, Photos, Music and Anynet+ modes. MagicInfo Quick Launch Button. MagicInfo can only be enabled when a network box is connected. This button is disabled for products that do not support MagicInfo. 38 Preparations 1 1 Preparations 1.5 Installing the Wall Mount 1.5.1 Preparing before installing Wall-Mount 1.5.2 Installing the Wall Mount Kit The wall mount kit (sold separately) allows you to mount the product on the wall. For detailed informatio n on installing the wall moun t, see the instructions provided with the wall mount. We recommend you contact a tech nician for assistance when installing the wall mount bracket. Samsung Electronics is not responsible for any damage to the product or injury to yourself or others if you elect to install the wall mount on your own. 1.5.3 Wall Mount Kit Specifications (VESA) Install your wall mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the wall mount to surfaces other than plaster board, please contact your nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the product on a slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe personal injury. To install a wall-mount from another manufacturer, use the Holder-Ring. (ME65B model only) 1

It may result in personal injury due to electric shock. zStandard dimensions for wall mount kits are shown in the table below. zSamsung wall mount kits contain a detailed installation manual and all parts necessary for assembly are provided. zDo not use screws that do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications. zDo not use screws that are longer than the standard length or do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications. Screws that are too long may cause damage to the inside of the product. zFor wall mounts that do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications, the length of the screws may differ depending on the wall mount specifications. zDo not fasten the screws too firmly. This may damage the product or cause the product to fall, leading to personal injury. Samsung is not liable for these kinds of accidents. zSamsung is not liable for product damage or personal injury when a non-VESA or non-specified wall mount is used or the consumer fails to follow the product installation instructions. zDo not mount the product at more than a 15 degree tilt. zAlways have two people mount the product on a wall.
