Touch an existing Memo to open it then touch the s creen to enter edit mode. – or – Touch to start a new memo in text mode with the keyboard displayed. – or – Touch to start a new memo in drawing mode. The icons that you see displayed on the screen are described in the following table: Changes the view mode. Allows you to add free-format drawing. Displays the keypad to yo u can add text. Eraser tool allows you to erase marks and drawings. Undo the last action. Redo the last action that was undone. Make a voice recording to add to the memo. Access a quick selection bar. Choose from: Take picture, Images, Clipboard, Maps, and Clip art. These elements can be used within the memo. Add an additional page t o the memo. 3. Touch to access the following options: Note: Depending on whether you have saved the memo, are in keypad mode, or in handwriting mode, the options will display differently. The following is a list of the options you may see. •Share via : Share your memo as either an Image file (.jpg), PDF file (.pdf), Plain text, or S Memo file (.snb). •Delete : Delete the S Memo. •Export : Save the memo to Google Drive, Evernote, or My Files. • Save as : Save the memo with a different name. •Add tag : Set tags to add in searches. • Add to Favorites: Tag the current memo as a favorite. • Change background : Set the background for your memo. Touch the background that you want; then touch . • Edit pages : Delete, copy, and paste pages between memos. • Create event : Link the memo to your Calendar events. 112
•Set as: Set a memo as a Contact icon, Home screen wallpaper, Lock screen wallpaper, or Home and lock screen wallpapers. •Print : Print the screen or web page on a Samsung printer using Wi-Fi. 4. Touch Save on the top menu bar when you are finished creating your memo. S Translator Allows you can easily translate words and phrases (verbal or text messages) into many different languages. S Voice Use S Voice to speak commands to perform operations on your phone, and to speak criteria for searches and other operations. Samsung Apps With Samsung Apps, you can download hundreds of applications from a variety of categories. 1. Sign in to your Samsung account, if you have not already done so. 2. Touch Samsung Apps . 3. Touch an application that you would like, then follow the onscreen instructions to download. 4. To u c h Menu ➔ Help for additional information. Samsung Hub Browse and purchase Music, Video, Books, or Games using Samsung Hub. 1. Touch Apps ➔ Samsung Hub . 2. Select Music, Video, Books, or Games from the Samsung Hub screen. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions to browse, view, or purchase media. Samsung Hub Notices • Any media item (Media Content) may be rented or purchased after you create an account in Samsung Hub. • Media Content that is purchased and downloaded may be viewed concurrently on up to five (5) devices with Samsung Hub (or “the service”) that are also registered to the same account. • You may remove a device from your account no more than once every 90 days. • You may remove Media Content from a device as many times as you’d like.
