Clearing Blockages in the Suction Hose

Set the vacuum cleaner to the
upright position.
 Press in the side clips on the hose
cuff to remove it from the suction
inlet. Remove the blockage.
 Reattach the hose cuff to the
suction inlet, then operate the
vacuum cleaner to check that the
blockage has been properly
cleared. If the hose is still blocked,
the suction force will be weak.
CAUTION
Be sure to turn the ON/OFF switch to the "O" position and disconnect the power
cord from the...

Disconnect the hose from the 
vacuum cleaner.
 Pull the hose gently in the direction 
of the arrow to disconnect it.
 Remove the wand and crevice tool 
from the vacuum cleaner.
 The wand contains another wand in 
it. Pull out the second wand.
 When removing the wand and 
crevice tool, pull them in the 
direction shown in the illustrations.
Note:  Pulling them straight back  from
the vacuum cleaner, or pulling them
forcefully, may damage the attachment
clamps.

Remove the bottom plate.
 Pull the socket out of the bracket.
 When removing the lamp, be careful
not to pull on the headlight lamp
wiring.
 Remove the bulb by gently pushing
it in and turning counter clockwise.
 Push a new bulb gently into the
socket and turn it clockwise to
install it. Use a standard bayonet
base appliance bulb rated at ’f20V
20W Max.
 Slide the tab on the bulb socket into
the bracket at the front of the
nozzle.
 Reattach the bottom plate.
