ASSEMBLY WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Do not plug into the electrical supply until the assembly is complete. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or injury. Set the vacuum cleaner to the upright position. The handle screw has been installed for shipping purposes. Remove the screw before inserting handle. Insert the handle as shown in the illustration. Fit the slot on the front edge of the bottom plate into the tab along the front edge of the nozzle head. Press down the back edge of the bottom plate so the tabs click into place. ’b 42 ’b’b ’f5 ’b Remove the bottom plate. Lift out the agitator assembly, and then remove the flat belt from the motor shaft and the agitator pulley. Place a new belt onto the motor shaft and pulley. Place the bearing holders into the grooves in the nozzle head. Make sure the new belt fits between the guides in the nozzle head. Remove the bulb by gently pushing it in and turning counter clockwise. Push a new bulb gently into the socket and turn it clockwise to install it.
