Managing the indicated problems
If a problem should occur inside the projector, the ,  and/or  indicators will inform 
you. Manage the indicated problems as follow.

Replacement
Before performing maintenance/replacement
When you perform maintenance or replacement of the parts, make sure to t\
urn off the power and disconnect the power plug  ffrom the wall outlet. (Æ pages 34, 37)
Be sure to observe the procedure “ fPowering Off the projector” (Æ page 37) when performing power supply operation.

Attaching the air filter unit
Attach the unused air filter unit to the projector.1) 
Hold the air filter unit that the tab is in up-left side in the figure, put the right side in the figure first, and press the tab side  funtil make a click sound.
Do not press any other part of the air filter unit except the frame during installation. f
Install the air filter cover.2) 
Perform Step 1) in “Removing the air filter unit” ( fÆ page 95) in the reverse order .

Notes on the replacement of the lamp unit
The luminous source of the lamp is made of glass and may burst if you hi\
t it against a hard surface or drop it. Please handle  fwith care.A Phillips screwdriver is required for replacement of the lamp unit. fWhen replacing the lamp unit, be sure to hold it by the handle. fWhen replacing the lamp because it has stopped illuminating, there is a \

Turn off the Power by following the procedure in "1) Powering Off the Projector" (Æ page 37). Remove 
the AC power plug from the wall outlet. Wait at least 1 hour and make sure the lamp unit and 
surroundings are cool. 
Remove the lamp cover. 2)
