To start the operation page of Crestron ConnectedTM from the web control screen, you need to access with the administrator rights. (For user rights, the [Crestron Connected(TM)] button is not displayed on the web control screen.) The operation page of Crestron Connected TM is displayed by clicking [Crestron Connected(TM)]. It is not displayed if Adobe Flash Player is not installed on your computer, or the browser you use does not support Flash. In that case, click [Back] on the operation page to go back to the previous page.

Chapter 5 Maintenance — Light source/temperature indicators 158 - ENGLISH Light source/temperature indicators When an indicator lights up If a problem occurs inside the projector, the light source indicators / or temperature indicator will inform you by lighting or blinking. Check the status of the indicators and manage the indicated problems as follows. Attention fWhen switching of f the projector to deal with problems, make sure to follow the procedure in “Switching of f the projector” (x page 59). Light source indicator Light source indicator Temperature indicator Light source indicators / Indicator status Blinking in red (2 times) Blinking in red (3 times) Status The light source does not light up, or the light source turns off while the projector is in use. Cause ― Solution f T urn the switch to ( x page 59), and turn it on again. Note fIf the light source indicators / are still blinking after taking the preceding measures, turn the switch , and ask your dealer for repairs. Temperature indicator Indicator status Lighting in red Blinking in red (2 times) Blinking in red (3 times) Status Warm-up status Internal temperature is high (warning).Internal temperature is high (standby status).The cooling fan has stopped. Cause f Did you turn on the power when the temperature was low (around 0 °C (32 °F))? fIs the air intake/exhaust port blocked? fIs the room temperature high? ― Solution f W ait at least five minutes in the current status. f Install the projector in a location with the operating environment temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F). fRemove any objects that are blocking the air intake/ exhaust port. fInstall the projector in a location with the operating environment temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F). fDo not use the projector at high altitudes of 4 200 m (13 780') or higher above sea level. fT urn the switch to (x page 59), and consult your dealer. Note f If the temperature indicator is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair .
Chapter 5 Maintenance — Maintenance ENGLISH - 159 Maintenance Before maintaining the projector fMake sure to turn of f the power before maintaining the projector. (x pages 51, 59) fWhen switching of f the projector, make sure to follow the procedures in “Switching off the projector” (x page 59). Maintenance Outer case Wipe off dirt and dust with a soft, dry cloth. fIf the dirt is persistent, soak the cloth with water and wring it thorou\ ghly before wiping. Dry of f the projector with a dry cloth. fDo not use benzene, thinner , or rubbing alcohol, other solvents, or household cleaners. Doing so ma\ y deteriorate the outer case. fWhen using chemically treated dust cloths, follow the instructions writt\ en on its packaging. Lens front surface Wipe off dirt and dust from the front surface of the lens with a soft clean clo\ th. fDo not use a cloth that is fluf fy, dusty, or soaked with oil/water. fSince the lens is fragile, do not use excessive force when wiping the lens. Attention fThe lens is made of glass. Impacts or excessive force when wiping may scratch its surface. Handle with care. Note fIf the projector is used in a dusty location, dust may accumulate near the ventilation ports (intake and exhaust) depending on the environment and operating conditions. This may adversely affect the ventilation, cooling, and heat dissipation inside the projector\ , thus causing reduced brightness. f If brightness is noticeably reduced and the light source does not turn o\ n, ask your dealer to clean inside the projector or replace the light source unit.

(For D - Sub cables, the cable length should be 10 m (32'10") or shorter.) ― f Is the external video output on the laptop computer set correctly? (Ex.: The external output settings may be switched by pressing the “Fn” + “F3” or “Fn” + “F10” simultaneously . Since the method varies depending on the computer type, refer to the user manual provided with your computer.) ― Image output from DVI - D of the computer does not appear. f Is the [EDID] setting in [DVI-D IN] set to [EDID3] or [EDID2:PC]? 96 fThe graphics accelerator driver of the computer may need to be updated t\ o the latest version. ― f The computer may need to be restarted to apply improvements after perfor\ ming the [EDID] setting in [DVI-D IN]. 96 V ideo from HDMI compatible device does not appear or it appears jumbled. f Is the HDMI cable connected securely? 46 fT urn the power of the projector and the external device off and on. ― fIs a signal which is not compatible with the projector being input? 176 Lens shift cannot be adjusted f Perform [LENS CALIBRA TION]. 123 fIs the fixed-focus lens (Model No.: ET- DLE055) attached?―
