    							Keep the unit away from heating appliances and electrical noise generating devices 
    such as fluorescent lamps, motors and television. These noise sources can interfere 
    with the performance of the EASA-PHONE. 
    This unit should be kept free of dust, moisture, high temperature and vibration, and 
    should not be exposed to direct sunlight. 
    Never attempt to insert wires, pins, etc. into the vents or other holes of this unit. 
    If there is trouble, disconnect the unit from the telephone line. 
    Pl~rg the telephone 
    directly into the telephone line. If the telephone operates properly, do not reconnect 
    the unit to the line until the trouble has been repaired by an authorized Panasonic 
    Factory Service Center. [f the telephone does not operate properly, chances are that 
    the trouble is in the telephone system, and not in the unit. 
    Do not use benzine, thinner, or similar solvents. Do not use abrasive powder to 
    clean the cabinet. Wipe it with a soft cloth. 
    . 
    This equipment generates and uses radio frequency energJ1 and if not installed 
    and used properly, that is, in strict accordance with the munufacturer’s 
    instructions, may cause interference to radio and television reception. It has 
    been type tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B computing 
    device in accordance with the specifications in Subpart J of Purr 15 of FCC 
    Rules, which are designed to provide reasonable protection against such 
    interference in a residential installation. However, there is no guarantee thnt 
    interference will not occur in a purticular installation. If this equipment does 
    cause interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by 
    turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the 
    interference by one or more of the following measures: 
    . . . Reorient the receiving antenna 
    .Relocatel the equipment with respect to the receive! 
    . ..Move the equipment away from the r-e 
    . . . Plug the equipment into a different outlet so that equipment and receiver are 
    on different branch circuits. 
    If necessary, the user should consult the dealer or an experienced radio1 
    television technician for additional suggestions. The user may find the 
    following booklet prepared by the Federal Communications Commission 
    helpful: 
    “How to Identify and Resolve Radio-TV InteTference Problems”.

    							Panasonic Company or Punasonic Sales Company (collectively referred to as 
    “PANASONIC”) will repair this product with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge, 
    in the U.S.A. or Puerto Rico for one (1) year from the date of original purchase in 
    the event of a defect in materials or workmanship.

    Non-rechargeable batteries are not warranted. 
    Carry-in or mail-in service in the U.S.A. can be obtained during the warranty period

    Servicenter Directory. Or call I-800-447-4700, toll free, to locate an authorized MSC 
    Servicenter. Carry-in or mail-in service in Puerto Rico can be obtained during the 
    warranty period by calling the telephone numbers listed in the Servicenter Directory 
    (see page 5-l I). 
    This warranty is extended only to the original pllrchaser. A purchase receipt or other 
    proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty performance is 
    rendered. 
    This rt>arratztJ or11y covers fitilures due to defects in materials or workmanship which 
    occur during t1ormal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in shipment or 
    failures which are caused by products not supplied by Panasonic Company, 
    Panasonic Sales Company or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, 
    neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, modification, or 
    service by anyone other than a MSC Factory Servicenter or authorized MSC 
    Servicenter or damage that is attributable to acts of God. 
    There are no expres.7 uaarranties except as listed above. 
    PANASONIC COMPANY AND PANASONIC SALES COMPANY SHALL 
    NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES 
    RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF 
    ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.
