CONNECTION l The Power Switch of the KX-T123211 must be off during wiring. After all the wiring are completed, turn the Power Switch ON. o Mis-Wiring may cause the KX-T123211 to operate improperly. l We recommend that telephone CO jack is used RJll. Insert the modular plug of the telephone line cord (2-conductor wiring) into the modular jack on the KX-T123211. To connect jack number 1 through 8 and 9 through 16, insert connector to the KX-T123211 as shown right. To connect Amphenol 57JE type (screw-attach-type 50-pin connector) to the KX-T123211, follow the procedure below. 1. Loosen the three screws to move the metal bar aside. I Metal bar 317 Screws 2. If the telephone you are using with the KX-T123211 is polarity sensitive. - 1. Connect all extension wiring to the KX-T123211. 2. Confirm that dialing can be done from all the extensions using a tone telephone. 3. If a dialing can not be done, the polarity between the extension and the KX-T123211 must be reversed. 6.
