    images.
    AWB \bode [ATW, AWB A, AWB B]
The white balance mo\ede is selected here.
Select the mode when \ethe coloring is not natural because
of the nature of th\ee light source or ot\eher factors.
If the white color s\eerving as the reference can be
recognized, subjects can be \eshot with natural coloring.
ATW: In this mode, the white balance \eis compensated
for automatically, even if changes occur\e in the
light source or colo\er temperature, by a process of
    continuous and automatic\e adjustment.
    AWB A, AWB B:
        When \bWB \b or \bWB B is selected and th\ee
white balance is executed, the adjustme\ent results
obtained are stored \ein the memory selected.
    When \bWB \b or \bWB B is then selected, t\ehe white

    Note R Gain, B Gain [–30 to +30]
    When “\bWB \b” or “\bWB B” is selected as the \b\eWB Mode
setting, the white b\ealance can be finely \eadjusted after
automatic white bal\eance (\bWB) has been performed.

The image detail (im\eage sharpness) is adjusted h\eere.
When “Low” or “High” is selected, the det\eail is enhanced.
Flesh Tone \bode [Off, Low, High]
Set here is the flesh\e tone mode for displaying the subjects’
skin so that it appea\ers more smoothly an\ed eye-pleasingly.
When “Low” or “High” is selected, the eff\eect is enhanced.

Set here is the level of the digital no\eise reduction effect so
that light, noise-f\eree and clear images \ewill be output even
at night and in ot\eher low-brightness environments.
When “Low” or “High” is selected, noise c\ean be eliminated.

This item is used t\eo adjust the black level (adjust the
pedestal) so that th\ee dark parts of the images ar\ee easier
    to see.
These parts become darker when a negative setting is
selected and, conversely, lighter when a pos\eitive setting is
    selected.
    DRS [Off, Low, High]
Set here is the DRS \efunction which provides just the right
amount of compensat\eion when images wit\eh significant
    light/dark differences are displayed.
When “Low” or “High” is selected, the eff\eect is enhanced
    even more.
This may make noise more perceptib\ele with some scenes.
    Gamma T\fpe [Off, Normal, Cinema]
Selected here is the t\eype of gamma curve.
The selected setting \etakes effect when “Off ” is selected as
    the “DRS” item setting.
Normally, the “Normal” setting is used.
When “Cinema” is selected, images \egiving off an
atmosphere like movies can be shot.
    Gamma Level [Low, \bid, High]
This item is used to adjust the gamma compensation level.
The item’s setting takes effect when “Off ” has been
selected as the “DRS” setting and “Normal” as the
    “Gamma Type” setting.
When “Low” is set, the images \eappear sedate and
composed. The resulting gamma \ecurve has a gentle
gradient in the low-brightness areas, and the contrast is
    sharper.
Conversely, when “High” is set, the tonal r\eange in the dark
area is expanded so that the \eimages take on a lighter
tone. The resulting gamma \ecurve has a sharp gradient in
the low-brightness areas, and the contrast is softer.
    Back Light CO\bP. [Off, On]
“On” or “Off ” is set here for the backlight compensation
    function.
Under backlight conditions, the function prevents
darkening as a result of\e light striking the backs of subjects,
and makes it possible to shoot images in shade or shadow
    more brightly.
The function takes effect when “\buto” has been selected
as the Contrast Mode, Gain or Frame Mix item setting\e.
    Da\f/Night [Da\f, Night]
This is used to select normal shooting or low light shooting
