    initialization of t\ehe unit.
    The screen itself con\esists of four tabs: “System log”, “Product info.”, “Default reset” and “Back up”.
    S\fstem log screen
    \b maximum of a hundred sys\etem logs can be stor\eed in the unit’s internal memory.
    When this maximum number has been exceeded, the old logs\e are overwritten successively by the new logs.
    The logs are cleared \ewhen the unit’s power is turned off.

    The running numbers of the system\e logs are displayed 
    here.
     Time & date
    The times and dates \ewhen the logs were generated are 
    displayed here.
    The 24-hour system \eis used to display this information.
     Error description
    Details of the error\e logs are displayed here.

    The versions of the unit\e’s software can be checked on this screen.
    The “Model no.”, “M\bC address”, “Serial no.”, “Firmware version” and other information about the un\eit is displayed.

    The unit’s serial number is displayed here.

    tilt unit.

    This is selected to \edisplay the PLD version of the camera 
    unit.

    This is selected to \edisplay the PLD version of the output\e 
    unit.

     Viewer software insta\pllation counter
    The number of plug-in vie\ewer software applications 
    which have been installed auto\ematically from the u\enit is 
    displayed by this counter.
     Firmware file
    1	After consulting wi\pth \four dealer, download 
    the latest software\p to the hard disk of \four 
    personal computer.
    p
     No spaces or full-si\eze characters can be used f\eor 
    the directory in which the soft\eware will be stored.
    p
     Keep the maximum combined number of characters 
    to be used for the name of the d\eirectory in which 
    the software will be stored an\ed for the name of the 
    software which has been d\eownloaded to less tha\en 
    250 characters.
    Notes
    2	Click the Browse button, and specif\f the 
    downloaded software.
    3	Click the Execute button.
    The software upgrade check screen is displayed.
    \bfter upgrading the software version, be absolutely\e sure 
    to delete the temporary Internet files.

     Be absolutely sure to\e upgrade the software versions 
    from the personal co\emputer in the same n\eetwork 
    (L\bN) as the unit w\ehose firmware version is to be 
    updated.
    Note

    The current status \eof the unit is disp\elayed here. p
     \bfter the \fxecute button has been press\eed, it 
    will take about one minute with the Camera Main 
    software or about 3 minutes with the Network 
    software for the progress bar that indic\eates the 
    progress made in the version upgrading to appear.
    p
     Use the personal comp\euter on the same sub\enet as 
    the camera to upgrade the software version.
    p
     Before using the version upgrading software, be 
    absolutely sure to c\eheck the precautions to \ebe 
    observed with your dealer, and follow the dealer’s 
    instructions.
    p
     Use the following files specified \eby Panasonic 
    Corporation as the software used for version 
    upgrading.
    Camera Main bin files
    Network img files
    \f\fPROM eep files
    p
     Be absolutely sure to\e write the filenames as \ebelow 
    (see *) for the files of the \esoftware used for version 
    upgrading.
    Camera Main he60_cameramain_xxxxx.bin*
    Network he60_network_xxxxx.img*
    \f\fPROM he60_cam_eepxxxxx.eep*\e
    *: \fnter the software version in the “xxxxx” part.
    p
     Do not turn off the unit’s power while a software 
    version is being upgraded.  
    (Do not turn off the power until the progress bar 
    display is cleared.)
    p
     While a software version is being upgraded, do not 
    attempt to execute any other operations until the 
    version has been upgraded.

    The unit’s setting data is i\enitialized and the unit is \erestarted on this screen.
     Reset to the defau\plt
      (Except the network settings)
    When the \fxecute button is clicked, the unit’s settings are 
    returned to their defaults.

    can be undertaken for about 2 minutes.
      Reboot
    When the \fxecute button is clicked, the unit is rebo\eoted. 
    \bfter the unit has b\eeen rebooted, no oper\eations can be 
    undertaken for about 2 minutes as is the case \ewhen the

    Back up screen
    On this screen, the \eunit’s settings can be s\eaved to a personal com\eputer or settings sa\eved in a personal com\eputer can be loaded 
    into the unit for use.
     Download
    The unit’s settings are saved in the personal co\emputer.
    \bfter displaying the save destination dialog\e box using the 
    \fxecute button, specify the s\eave destination folder.
    Listed below are the settings t\eo be saved.
      • Scene Full\buto settings

      • Scene Manual2 settings

    p
     It takes about 10 seconds after the \fx\eecute button 
    has been clicked for the save destination dialog\e box to 
    appear.
     Upload
    The unit’s setting files, which were saved in the personal 
    computer by the download function, ar\ee uploaded.
    Click the Browse button to display the dialog box, and 
    specify the saved file.
    Uploading starts when the \fxecute button is clicked.  
    The uploading is com\epleted in about 2 minutes, after 
    which a popup display notifying the use\er that the 
    uploading is complete\ed appears.
    p
     Use the files downloaded by the unit as the d\eata to 
    be used for uploading.  
    Do not change the extension (.dat) of the files which 
    have been downloaded.
    p
     Do not turn off the unit’s power while downloading 
    or uploading is und\eerway.
    p
     Do not attempt to pe\erform any operations while 
    downloading or uploadi\eng is underway. Instead, wait 
    until the downloading or uploadi\eng is completed.

     Displa\fing the web screen\p 
    using a mobile term\pinal
    Connect the mobile t\eerminal to the unit, \eand display the unit’s 
    images (MJP\fG format only). Refreshing to the latest images 
    takes place automaticall\ey.
    Operations such as pann\eing, tilting and zooming can also be \e
    performed from the mobile \eterminal.
    The following models are suppo\erted as mobile terminals (as 
    of xxx 2012).

     Use a standard browser with an Android terminal.
    p
     Images are displa\fed onl\f in the JPEG format when using t\phe 
    standard browser of an Android terminal.
    p
     Input the user name \eand password if the authorization 
    dialog box is displayed.
    The initial settings\e for the user name and\e password are 
    given below.
    User name admin
    Password 12345
    In order to ensure s\eecurity, the password for the user 
    name of “admin” must be changed with\eout fail.
    (see page 84)
    p
     If the mobile terminal does not suppo\ert the character code 
    UTF-8, the characters cannot be di\esplayed properly.
    1	Input “http://IP address/mobile/  ” *1 using the 
    mobile terminal, and press the ente\pr button.
    The unit’s images will now be displayed.
    *1:   This IP address is the global\p IP address for the WAN of 
    the router that enables internet access\p. 
    However, it is the local IP\p address if the unit \pin the same 
    LAN is to be acces\psed using a mobile \pterminal which 
    supports a wireless conne\pction.
       Pan/Tilt
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for performing 
    the pan/tilt operations are displayed on the screen.
    The camera is panned toward the left.
    The camera is tilted upward.
    The camera is tilted downward.
    The camera is panned toward the right.
       Zoom
    The unit’s zooming operations are performed using these 
    buttons.
    Use this to adjust \ethe zoom (magnification\e) in 
    the Wide direction.
    Use this to adjust \ethe zoom (magnification\e) to 
    1.0.
    Use this to adjust \ethe zoom (magnification\e) in 
    the Tele direction.

     Preset
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for selecting the 
    preset positions are \edisplayed on the screen.
    When one of the disp\elayed buttons is pressed, 
    the camera’s pan/tilt position \emoves to the 
    preset position that\e was registered ahead \eof 
    time.
    The settings that a\ere reproduced at thi\es position 
    are the settings whi\ech were established on the 
    “Preset Scope” menu (see pages 49, 78 and 81).
     Resolution switching
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for selecting the 
    resolution are displa\eyed on the screen.
    If “Off ” is selected as the “16:9 resize” setting among the \e
    IP video settings (\eVideo over IP), the unit’s images are 
    displayed using the aspect \eratio of 4:3.
    If “On” is selected as the “16  : 9 resize” setting, the unit’\es 
    images are displayed using the aspect \eratio of 16:9.

    The images are displa\eyed with a resolution\e of 
    320  240 pixels.
    The images are displa\eyed with a resolution\e of 
    640  480 pixels.
    p
     Depending on the type\e of mobile terminal used, 
    the resolution for displaying the images will\e change 
    but the image size may not change even when the 
    “Resolution switching” button is pressed.

     Iris
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for performing 
    the iris operations are displayed on the screen.
    This switches the iris between auto and manual. 
    \bt the auto setting,\e the button label is green.
    This adjusts the mo\evement of the iris in the 
    “close” direction.
    This adjusts the mo\evement of the iris in the 
    “open” direction.
     Focus
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for performing 
    the focusing operations are displayed on the screen.
    Use this to switch between auto and manual 
    focusing.
    When \buto is selected, the \efocus is adjusted 
    automatically.
    When this is pressed\e while the focus is being 
    adjusted manually, the focus will be temporarily 
    adjusted automatica\elly.
    It does not work during automatic adju\estments.
    Use this to adjust \ethe focus in the Near di\erection.
    It does not work during automatic adju\estments.
    Use this to adjust \ethe focus in the Far direction.
    It does not work during automatic adju\estments.

     Camera menu (OSD menu) operation
    When this button is pressed, th\ee buttons for performing 
    the camera menu operations are displayed on the screen.
    \bt the same time, the camera menus are displayed on the 
    unit’s images.
    The unit’s camera menu operations can be 
    performed by pressing the 
    , ,  
    and 
     buttons.
    When any of these buttons is pressed to\e 
    switch to an operation that does not\e involve a 
    camera menu, the camera menus are no longer 
    displayed on the unit’s images.
      Tall\f lamp lighting stat\pus displa\fs
    The lighting status\e of the camera’s tally lamp is moni\etored 
    at regular intervals while the camera is connected, and the 
    lamp’s display is updated.
    If the tally lamp is \eoff, “Tally: Off ” is 
    displayed in white.
    If the tally lamp is on, “Tally: On” is displayed 
    in red.
    p
     It may take 2 seconds or so for a change in the \e
    lighting status of \ethe tally lamp to be \ereflected on 
    the display of the mobile terminal.
    p
     When “Disable” is selected for “Tally \fnable” 
    (page 50, page 81) the camera’s tally lamp will not light 
    even when the tally sig\enal is input. However, the 
    characters indicated for the tally lamp lig\ehting status 
    displays will turn red.
    Notes

     If the HTTP port number has been chang\eed from “80,” 
    input “http://IP address/\emobile/  ” *1 to specify the unit\e’s 
    port number.

     Input the user name \eand password if the authorization 
    dialog box is displayed.
    The initial settings\e for the user name and\e password are 
    given below.

    Depending on the mob\eile terminal, it may be necessary to 
    input the password each time the sc\ereen changes.

     If the images are la\erge, it may not be possible to display 
    them on some mobile \eterminals.
    In a case like this, it may be possible to display the 
    images if a setting\e close to low image quality is \eselected 
    for “Image quality” (page 67) of the “JP\fG image settings\e” 
    among the “Video over IP”.

     \bccess may not be possible depending on the m\eobile 
    terminal used and its \eagreement plan.
