    Applicable modes: 
    The focus and brightness can be set to the specified subject and posit
     ion using the 
    touch screen.
    From the Recording screen  > [ ] >   [Custom]  > [
    
    Touch Settings].
    ¢1 This is disabled when Intelligent Auto Mode or Intelligent Aut o P lus Mode is selected.
    Applicable modes: 
    You can assign functions that are used frequently during recording
      to []/[].
    From the Recording screen > [ ] > [Custom] > [Volume Button Setting].
    Settings: [Zoom]/[Exposure]/[Sensitivity]/[White Balance]/[OFF]
    Sets the touch operations during recording ([Touch Settings])
    [Touch AF] It is possible to set the focus to the subject 
    specified on the touch screen.
    ≥ This is not available when [Focus Mode] is set to [MF].
    ≥ Ta p   [ ] to cancel the setting.
    [Touch Shutter] Just by touching the subject you want as your point of focus, t
    he
      unit will focus on 
    the subject and take the picture automatically.
    ≥ Focus adjustment will not be carried out if the [Focus Mode] is  [MF]
     .
    [Touch AE Lock]

    You can tap to adjust and fix th e brightness to suit the specified subject.
    ≥ This cannot be used when setting the Manual Exposure Mode.
    ≥ [Metering Mode] changes to the specialized [ ] mode.
    ≥ Fixing the exposure turns on the [AEL] display.
    ≥ Ta p   [ ] to cancel the lock.
    [Touch AF Lock]

    ≥Cautions for Use:
    Be sure to pay special attention to the privacy, the likeness righ ts, etc. of the 
    subject when you use this function. Use at your own risk.
    [Store in] Sets the storage location of recorded pictures and motion pictu

    [Internal Storage]/[microSD]
    [Auto Backup]A backup of the recorded image is automatically taken when the came

    terminated.
    [ON]/[OFF]
    ≥Refer to  P128 for details.
    [Auto OFF] The camera function is terminated autom
    
    atically if there are no operations during the set 
    time.

    [High Brightness 
    Mode] The display becomes brighter and easier to see even when taking
     pic
     tures outdoors.
    [ON]/[OFF]
    ≥The brightness of pictures displayed on the display is enhanced, so some subjects on 
    the display may appear different from the actual subjects. Howe ver, this enhancement 
    does not affect recorded pictures.
    [Preview Mode] Set the frame rate of the recording screen.

    ≥When [Silent Mode] is set to [ON], [Beep] is set to [OFF].
    [Shutter] Sets whether to emit the shutter sound or not.

    ≥When [Silent Mode] is set to [ON], [Shutter] is set to [OFF].
    [Tilt sensor

     stment] You can adjust the tilt of the horizon reference line when the 
    unit i
     s held in a horizontal 
    orientation.
    ≥Adjust the tilt of the horizon reference line, and tap [OK].
    ≥ To reset the tilt of the refere nc e line to the default, tap [RESET].
    [No.Reset] Reset the file number of the next recording to 0001.
    ≥The folder number is updated and the file number starts from 00
    01.
    ≥ A folder number between 100 and 999 is created.
    The folder number cannot be reset if it reaches 999. Therefore we
      recommend that you 
    delete all the “DCIM” folder in the storage after saving the da ta in a PC etc.
    ≥ To reset the folder number to 100 , delete 
     all folders within the “DCIM” folder on the 
    storage media.
    [Reset] The settings are reset to the default.

    Gallery
    Display pictures, motion pictur es or other items that have been taken.
    Playback slideshows, edit still pictures or capture still pictures  f rom motion pictures.≥Data can be synchronized using your Google account.
    1From the Home screen  > [ ] >  [ ].≥The Album list screen is displayed.
    ≥ When using the camera function, tapping [ (] on  the Recording screen plays back 
    the most recently recorded image.
    ≥ During initial start-up, a screen to confirm whether to turn on  the 
     automatic backup 
    to the Google drive is displayed.

     6 for details on the Google drive.

    3Tap picture or motion picture.≥The picture or motion picture is displayed in full screen.
    ≥ Flick in a horizontal directio n to displ ay the next/previous picture or motion picture.

    ≥ Ta p   [ ] to set the screen brightness to the highest level.
    ≥ Ta p   [ ] to display the picture information.

    ≥ Continuous picture shots are summarized and displayed as a sing le file
      in the File list screen.
    Select the thumbnail of an image with continuous shots in the F il e list screen to display a list of the continuous 
    images.

    Launching Photo Search
    Search for photography locations i n the current location or travel destinations, or use 
    pictures taken by other people in those locations as a referenc e.

     location to the desired photography location can also 
    be displayed.

    ≥During initial start-up, read the terms of use and tap [Agree] if you ag ree to the terms.

    ≥ The control icons and thumbnail images are switched from

    Up to 50 favorites can be saved.

    ≥ Saving a picture as a favorite displays [ ] in the thumbnail images.
    ≥ You can register your favorite pictures by tapping [ ] in the full screen di splay as well.
    Search for place names or landmark names, and move the map to the search 
    location.

    2Enter place name or landmark name  > select destination from resulting list.≥The map moves to the selected location, and nearby pictures are  d isplayed.
