    [Playback Operation 
    Priority]
    [ON] Switching the display of the playback screen, deleting 
    pictures, etc. are possible during [Auto Review].

    the rear dial.

    Assigns the shutter speed to the front dial, and the aperture value to 
    the rear dial.
    [Rotation (F/SS)]
    Changes the rotation direction of th

    that you can directly adjust it.

    [DISP.]:
    Rotating the control dial allows you to switch the enlarged display (windowed/full 
    screen).
    [FOCUS]:
    Rotating the control dial allows you to adjust the focus.
    [MF Assist Display]
    [FULL]:
    Enlarges the display in a window on the screen.
    [PIP]:
    Enlarges the display in full screen.
    Setting the eye sensor sensitivity and the method for switching between the 
    monitor and viewfinder
    [Eye Sensor]
    [Sensitivity] This will set the sensitiv
    ity of the eye sensor.
    [HIGH]/[LOW]
    [LVF/Monitor 
    Switch] This will set the method for switching between the monitor and viewfinder.

    Shutter will not operate when a lens is not attached to the camera body or is not 
    attached correctly.

    Change the Quick Menu to your preferred item
    When [Q.MENU]  (P312) in the [Custom] menu is set to [CUSTOM], the Quick Menu can 
    be changed as desired.
    Up to 15 items can be set to the Quick Menu.
    1Press [Q.MENU] to display the Quick Menu.2Press  4 to select [ ] and then press [MENU/SET].
    3Press  3/4 /2 /1  to select the menu item in the top 
    row and then press [MENU/SET].
    4Press  2/1  to select the empty space in the bottom 
    row and then press [MENU/SET].
    A Items that can be setup as Quick Menus.
    B Items that can be displayed in the Quick Menu screen.
    •You can also set the menu item by dragging it from the top 
    row to the bottom row.
    •If there is no empty space in the bottom row, you can 
    replace an existing item with a new select item by selecting 
    the existing item.
    •To cancel the setting, move to the bottom row by pressing 4  and select an item to cancel, 
    and then press [MENU/SET].

    Assigning frequently used functions to the

    You can assign frequently-used functions to particular buttons or icons.

    2Press 3/4  to select [Setting in REC mode] or [Setting in PLAY mode] and then 
    press [MENU/SET].
    3Press  3/4  to select the function button you want to 
    assign a function to and then press [MENU/SET].

    ∫Configuring the function button settings from the on-monitor recording 
    information screen
    Touching [Fn] on the on-monitor recording information screen  (P44) also allows you to 
    display the screen in step
    3.
    ∫ Using function buttons with touch operations
    [Fn6], [Fn7], [Fn8], [Fn9], and [Fn10] are used by touching function buttons.

    •The assigned function will operate.
    •Some functions cannot be used depending on the mode or displayed screen.•When set to [Focus Area Set], it is possible to display the position setting screen of either AF 
    area or MF Assist.
    •When [1 Shot RAW+JPG] is set, it will record the RAW file and a fine JPEG image 
    simultaneously once only. It will return  to original quality after recording.
    •When [1 Shot Spot Metering] is set, it will record with [Metering Mode] set to [ ] (spot) once 
    only. It will return to original Metering Mode after recording.
    •Operations of the cursor button, [MENU/SET],  and the control dial are disabled when [Cursor 
    Button Lock] is set. Press the function button again to enable them.
    •When [Restore to Default] is set, function button settings return to the default configuration.
    Not available in these cases:
    •
    [Fn4] cannot be used in the following cases.–Intelligent Auto Mode–Intelligent Auto Plus Mode
    –Creative Control Mode–When using [Multi Exp.]•[Fn1] cannot be used during Time Lapse Shooting.
    •[Fn6], [Fn7], [Fn8], [Fn9], and [Fn10] cannot be used when the viewfinder is in use.

    You can directly set an assigned function to a selected image by pressing the function 
    button during playback.
    •
