    Wi-Fi
    •Motion pictures cannot be displayed on a TV.•During the multi/calendar playback, pictures displayed on the screen of this unit are not 
    displayed on TV.
    •When a TV is connected to this unit, the TV screen may temporarily return to the status before 
    the connection. Pictures are displayed again when you take or play back pictures.
    •[Effect] and [Sound] of the Slide Show are disabled.

    What you can do with the [Wi-Fi] button when connected to Wi-Fi

    Wi-Fi
    [Send Images While Recording]
    A picture can be automatically sent to a specified device every time you take it.
    Since the camera gives priority to recordi ng, sending may take longer during the recording 
    of Burst pictures or motion pictures.
    •
    Motion pictures cannot be sent.•If you turn off this unit or the Wi-Fi connection before sending is complete, unsent pictures will 
    not be resent.
    •You may not be able to delete files or use the playback menu while sending.•When sending images on a mobile network, high packet communication fees may be incurred 
    depending on the details of your contract.
    1Press [Wi-Fi].
    2Press  3/4  to select [New Connection], and then 
    press [MENU/SET].
    •
    When connecting with the setting you used before, you 
    can select the connection destination from [Select a 
    destination from History]  (P214) or [Select a destination 
    from Favorite]  (P215).
    3Press 3/4 to select [Send Images While Recording], and then press [MENU/SET].4Press  3/4  to select [Smartphone], and then press [MENU/SET].5Select the connection method. (P223)

    When sending images to smartphone/tablet

    ∫When you want to connect to the smartphone/tablet via a wireless access point(On your smartphone/tablet)
    1On the setting menu of your smartphone/tablet, turn on the Wi-Fi function.
    2Select the wireless access point you want to connect to, and set.3Start “LUMIX LINK” on your smartphone/tablet.¢ (P211)(On the camera)
    4Press  3/4  to select [Via Network], and then press [MENU/SET].5Select the method for connecting to a wireless access point, and set.

    3On the setting menu of your smartphone/tablet, turn on 
    the Wi-Fi function.
    4Select the SSID that matches the one displayed on the 
    sceen of this unit, and then enter the password.
    5Start “LUMIX LINK” on your smartphone/tablet.¢  (P211)¢ A window indicating that the smartphone/tablet is connecting to the camera is displayed. If 
    you are using an Android device, press the back key. If you are using an iOS device, close 
    the window.

    Changing the settings for sending images

    Select whether to delete the location information from images before 
    sending them.
    [ON]: Delete the location information, then send.
    [OFF]: Keep the location information and send.
    •This operation only deletes the location information from the images 
    that are set to be sent. (The location information will not be deleted 
    from the original images stored in this unit.)
    [Cloud Limit]¢3
    You can select whether to send images when the Cloud Folder runs 
    out of free space.
    [ON]: Do not send images.
    [OFF]: Delete images from the oldest ones, then send new images.
    ¢ 1 Only available when the destination is set to [Web service].
    ¢ 2 Only available when [Send Images Stored in the Camera] is selected and the destination is 
    set to [Cloud Sync. Service], [Web service] or [External] of [AV device].

    When sending images to PC
    Preparations:

    Turn the computer on.•Prepare folders for receiving images on the PC before sending a picture to the PC.  (P226)

    [Direct]When you want to directly connect your PC to this unit with [Wi-Fi 
    Direct], [WPS Connection], or [Manual Connection].  (P219)

    •Create a PC user account [account name (up to 254 characters) and password (up to 32 
    characters)] consisting of alphanumeric characters. An attempt to create a receive folder may 
    fail if the account includes non-alphanumeric characters.
    ∫When using “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ”1Install “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” to the PC.
    •For details on hardware requirements and installation, read “About the supplied software” 
    (P255) .
    2Create a folder that receives images with “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ”.
    •To create the folder automatically, select [Auto-create]. To specify a folder, create a new 
    folder, or set a password to the folder, select [Create manually].

    ∫When not using “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ”
    (For Windows)

    To create a folder that receives images

    When sending images to [Cloud Sync. Service]
    Preparations:
    You need to register to “LUMIX CLUB”  (P239) and configure the Cloud Sync. setting to 
    send a picture to a Cloud Folder.
    ∫ About the images sent to a Cloud Folder by the use of [Cloud Sync. Service] 
    (As of October 2012)
    To send images to a PC, Cloud Sync. setting is  required. Configure the settings on a PC 
    with “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” or on a smartphone/tablet with “LUMIX LINK”.
    •
    If you set the picture destination to [Cloud Sync. Service], sent pictures are temporarily saved 
    in the cloud folder, and they can be synchronized with the device in use, such as the PC or 
    smartphone/tablet.
    •A Cloud Folder stores transferred images for 30 days (up to 1000 pictures). Transferred 
    images are deleted automatically 30 days after the transfer. Furthermore, when the number of 
    stored images exceeds 1000, some images  may be deleted depending on the [Cloud Limit] 
    (P224)  setting even within 30 days after the transfer.
    •When the download of images from a Cloud Folder to all specified devices is complete, 
    images may be deleted from the Cloud Folder even within 30 days after the transfer.

    Preparations:
    You need to register to “LUMIX CLUB”  (P239) to send a picture to a WEB service.
    When sending images to WEB services, such as  Facebook or YouTube, the WEB service 
    being used must be registered with the “LUMIX CLUB”. Registering multiple WEB 
    services will send images to  all services simultaneously. (P242)

    •Images uploaded to the WEB Service cannot be displayed or deleted with this camera. Check 
    images by accessing the WEB Service with your smartphone/tablet or computer.
    •If sending images fails, a report email outlining the failure will be sent to the email address 
    registered with “LUMIX CLUB”.
    •Images may contain personal information that can be used to identify the user, such as a 
    title, the time and date when the images was taken, and the location where the image 
    was taken. Check this information before uploading images to WEB services.
    •Panasonic assumes no responsibility for the damages resulting from the leakage, loss, etc. 
    of images uploaded on WEB services.
    •When uploading images to the WEB Service, do not delete images from this camera, even 
    after they have finished sending, until you have checked that they have been properly 
    uploaded to the WEB Service. Panasonic assumes no responsibility for the damages 
    resulting from the deletion of images stored in this unit.
