Off-Hook Signaling Trying to get in touch with a co-worker who is busy on a call? Use Off-Hook Signaling to let your co-worker know youre trying to get through. There are two types of Off-Hook Signaling: CO Off-Hook Signaling and Intercom Off-Hook Signaling. Outside Calls, Answering Answering incoming calls can be as simple as pressing a line key or dialing an access code. There are many types of outside calls that you can answer from your phone. Ask your Communications Manager about the different types of calls you are expected to answer. You may have line and loop keys on your phone. A line key is dedicated to a particular outside line. The method you use depends on how your system and your phone are set up.
