Chapter 8 SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
A special function in Student Services allows an administrator to place calls to 
stations that are currently scheduled as restricted.
Student Services Override
The Override function allows a Student Services Administrator to call a restricted 
station. Follow the steps for this procedure.
Step 1:
From a Dterm phone, press the function key assigned for the Student Ser-
vices Override...

Enter the destination extension number using the Dterm numeric keypad.

Scheduled Events is the main feature of Student Services. Events can be scheduled 
that allow different operating privileges for a station or a group of stations. These 
events can be recurring events or they can be scheduled as a one-time occurrence.

SchedulingAs described in Chapter 5 of this guide, a Special Event overrides a Normal Event. 
The Special event is a one-time event or special situation, separate from a Normal 
event.
