* If the game must be operated, for fault finding, with either SENSOR 1 or
SENSOR 2 only due to a sensor fault, press the Start button for more than
10 seconds while the error message is being displayed to forcibly enter the
GAME screen. In this condition, however, the game cannot detect the angle
of the sword and prevents proper game play.ERROR MESSAGE SCREEN

7. MAINTENANCE
  
Adjustment or maintenance on this machine should be carried out by
qualified personnel only.
Ensure that the 
POWER to the machine is turned OFF before commencing
any maintenance work. (Trouble shooting, service or repairs etc.)
  
Einstellungen und Wartung des Gerätes dürfen nur von dafür qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden.
Vor Beginn aller Wartungsarbeiten (Fehlersuche, Reparaturen etc.) muß der
Netzstecker gezogen werden.

 

 


Justeringer eller vedligehold af denne maskine bør kun udføres af
kvalificeret personale.
Sørg for, at strømmen til maskinen er slukket før der foretages nogen form
for arbejde (fejlfinding, reparation etc.)

7-1-1 Cleaning the Reflective Strip
•Do not use organic solvents such as thinners.
•Do not use alkali or acid cleaning agents.
1. Use a soft cloth dampened with a diluted neutral detergent.
2. Use a clean dry soft cloth to wipe any detergent or water from the surface.
7-1-2 Cleaning the panel glass
•Do not use organic solvents such as thinners.
1. Using a glass cleaner, wipe the inside and outside surfaces with a soft cloth.
2. Use a clean dry soft cloth to wipe any detergent or water from the surface.

7-1-3 Cleaning the Screen Guard

7-1-4 Repairing the Reflective Strip If the reflective strip inside the Frame Assembly is peeling or scratched, the
sensors cannot detect the sword position correctly. To repair the damage, cut a
piece from the provided reflective sheet, slightly larger than the damag\
ed area,
and fit it over the damaged area ensuring that there are no wrinkles or \
bubbles.
*After repair conduct the sensor level test. (see 6-2-3-2 page 51)

1. Remove 4off security screws (M5x12).
2. Undo the lock and tilt the Front Panel forward to remove.
3. Reassemble in reverse order.

7-3 Removing the Control Base Assy
1.  Remove the Front Panel. (see 7-2 page 66)
2. Disconnect the five connectors.
3. Remove 2off pozi head screws (M5x25), with flat and spring washers.
4. Remove the Control Base Assy by lifting straight up.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.

7-4 Replacing the NAOMI PCB Assy
1.  Remove the Front Panel. (see 7-2 page 66)
2.  Remove the Control Base assy. (see 7-3 page 67)
3. Disconnect the four connectors.
4. Remove the 4off pozi head screws (M5x12).
5. Remove the NAOMI PCB Assy.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.

7-5 Replacing the Screen Guard
1.  Seperate the Monitor Base Assy from the Front Assy. (see 5-2 page 35)
2.  Remove the Signboard Assy. (see 5-3 page 36)
3.  Remove the Front Panel. (see 7-2 page 66)
4. Remove 2off security screw (M5x25) and 4off pozi head screws (M5x16), and remove the Monitor Mask.
5. Remove 18off Whizz nuts, and remove the two pairs of Guard Brackets (A),(B), and remove the screen guard.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
Note: The front and rear sides of the Screen Guard are different. Ensure that the Screen Guard is re-fitted the correct way round.

1. Remove 4off security screw (M5x12).
2. Disconnect the connector and remove the Control Panel.
(There is no connector to disconnect on the left hand Control Panel).
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
