Page 41 SENSOR The horizontal axis of the graph shows the portion of the Frame Assembly that the sensor has detected. The green portion of the graph is the active area that the game uses during game mode, and the grey area is ignored by the game. The vertical axis of the graph represents the photo acceptance of the sensor. The horizontal green line in the middle of the graph is the OK/FAIL level. “O.K.” will be displayed if the level is above the green line. Adjust the sensors for the highest levels possible. It is acceptable to have only one line of the graph below the green line, and “O. K. is displayed.
Page 42 There are two adjustment screws in the Sensor Assy and these make adjustments to a pair of sensors together. The angle of the sensor can be changed by approx. ±2º by turning each adjustment screw (approx ±5.7mm). Adjustment Slacken slightly 2off cap screws under the sensor bracket, so that the sensor assembly can move by turning the adjustment screws. Note: If the screws are slackened too much, there will be too much movement of the sensor bracket, and adjustment cannot be made correctly. After adjustment is completed re-tighten the 2off cap screws and check that the sensor levels are still correct. 2 , 2º2 , 2º HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT SCREW VERTICAL ADJUSTMENT SCRE 2 , 1º 2 , 1º
Page 43 Example Horizontal Adjustment Although the rear sensor is normal, the front sensor is showing a a low level in the left hand half of the graph. Turn the horizontal adjustment screw to raise the level of the graph. Although the rear sensor is normal, the front sensor is showing a a low level in the right hand half of the graph. Turn the vertical adjustment screw to raise the level of the graph. Due to the relationship between the performance of the reflective tape and the form of the frame, there may be dips in about two places of the graph. If adjusted correctly it should be possible to reduce these dips to near maximum level.
