Loading original documents into the Automatic
Document Feeder
You can load up to 25 sheets of an original document into the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for scanning,
copying, and faxing. You can load A4-, letter-, or legal-size paper into the ADF.
Notes:
Use only new, unwrinkled paper that is not curled.
Do not load postcards, photos, small items, transparencies, photo paper, or thin media (such as magazine

Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) paper capacity

You adjust the paper guide on the ADF tray to the width of the
original document.
The original document is loaded faceup, top edge first, until
you hear a beep.
The paper size fits within these dimensions:

cSelect the print quality, the number of copies to print, the type of paper to be used, and how the pages should
print.
