the touch screen. You can also select environmentally friendly printer settings for saving paper and energy.

Configuring the home screen or idle screen
The Background and Idle Screen application allows you to change the image used as the background on the printer
home screen as well as the images used on the printer idle screen.
Images used on the home or idle screens must meet the following requirements:
GIF, JPEG, and PNG formats only
A file size no larger than 128K
A home screen background image size (in pixels) no larger than 800 x 405
An idle screen image size (in pixels) no larger than 800 x 480

3Enter an Image Name.
4Beside Image, click Browse.
5Browse to the graphic you want to use, and then click Open.

7Repeat steps 3 through 6 to add additional idle screen images.
Note: You can add up to ten idle screen images.

Changing the idle screen settings using the Embedded Web Server
1From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > Embedded Solutions  > Background and Idle Screen >
Configure.
2Under Idle Screen Settings, make sure Enable is selected.
3Beside Start Time, enter the number of seconds the printer is idle before the idle screen images appear.
4Beside Image Interval, enter the number of seconds between image changes.
5Click Apply.

Configuring Eco‑Settings using the printer control panel
1From the printer home screen, touch Eco‑Settings.
2Touch Eco‑Mode, and then touch Off, Energy (to reduce energy use, especially when the printer is idle),
Energy/Paper, or Paper (to turn off print log features).
Notes:
Choosing Energy/Paper will automatically set 2‑Sided Printing and Power Saver to default levels. You will not
be able to modify those settings.

The printer Bookmark function is used to create a link to a form or electronic file at a predetermined URL or network
