used for copying selected report fields from the current report to other reports.

When you select the Report command button, the window above page appears. Use the
following command buttons to select the reports that will receive the copied information.
To select multiple items in Include or Exclude list, highlight them using the shift key
and/or the control key. Note that more than 100 items can be highlighted, but only 100 are
moved to the other list box at a time.

To Print Reports
Print Command
This window appears when you select the Print command button shown on page 59. It
allows you to select the destination printer or file. The only print range available is All,
which prints all pages of the report.
The window shows the currently selected printer. If you would like to
change printers or printer setup, select the Setup command button to
display the Print Setup window shown on page 87.

If you would prefer to send the report to a file on your hard disk or a floppy disk instead of
to a printer, select the Print To File check box. When you select the OK command button,
a window will appear that contains a text box. Enter the output file name in the text box
(for example: C:REPORT will place it in a file titled“REPORT” on the C drive). Then

Printer Setup
The window shown above appears when you select the Print Setup from the Location
pull-down menu or toolbar shown in the window on page 59 or the Setup command button
shown in the Print window on page 85. It is used for selecting the printer options as fol-
lows:

This window appears when you highlight a report in the list box and select the Preview
command button shown on page 59. It displays the report in the format in which it will be
printed. When a report preview is displayed, there is an extra pull-down menu selection
(Preview) at the top of the screen and the toolbar shows the Preview options. The toolbar
requires the use of a mouse, but the pull-down menu can be used with a mouse...

Programming SMDR And Enhanced Databases
The Inside Track software reads the SMDR records and sorts them into one or more pro-
grammed databases. The call records can be customized in an“enhanced database” to add
greater detail to the generated reports. For example, the description, tenant, and depart-
ment information for each extension number can be included in the report. These fields
allow you to generate a more complete profile of the telephone...

To Program, Create, Or Delete SMDR Databases
This window appears when you select theSMDR command button shown on page 59. It
allows you name theSMDA databases to capture records from a buffer, an RS-232 con-
nection, or raw files.
SMDR Databases
The SMDR Databases list box contains a list of theSMDR databases for the current loca-
tion. To program or delete an existing database, highlight it in the list box and select the
appropriate command button.
