8. AUTO-ANSWER MODEM 
INSTALLATION 
8.1 Remote programming of the system requires in- 
stallation of a customer-provided auto-answer mo- 
dem. The modem is connected to an RS-232-C port 
on the KSU and directly to an APM circuit or a dedi- 
cated C.O. line. Refer to page 2-16 for RS-232-C pin-
