• Check to make sure that both print cartridges are installed and functioning

Pages are skewing
• Make sure the media loaded in the trays is aligned to the paper guides.
• Load media into the device only when it is not printing.
• Make sure to fully extend the input tray extension if your device model has an
extension.

• Fan the media before loading.

Clear jams
Occasionally, media becomes jammed during a job. Try the following remedies before
you attempt to clear the jam.
• Make sure that you are printing with media that meets specifications. For moreinformation, see 
Select print media .
• Make sure that you are printing with media that is not wrinkled, folded, or damaged.
• Make sure that the input tray is loaded correctly and is not too full. For more information, see 
Load media .

6.If the print carriage is obstructing the jam, gently push it to one side and then
remove the media.
7.If the jammed media is not visible in the print area located inside the device,
remove what is visible in the input tray.
8. After you clear the jam, close the front access cover, turn on the device, and then
press 
 (Resume  button) to continue the print job.
The device will continue the print job on the next page. You will need to resend the
page or pages that were jammed in the device.
