Create a printing shortcut (Windows) 1.From the software program, select the Print option. 2. Select the product, and then click the Properties or Preferences button. 3. Click the Printing Shortcuts tab. 4.Select an existing shortcut as a base. NOTE: Always select a shortcut before adjusting any of the settings on the right side of the screen. 5.Select the print option s for the new shortcut. NOTE: You can select the print options on this tab or on any other tab in the printer driver. After selecting options on other tabs, return to the Printing Shortcuts tab before continuing with the next step. 6. 3.Click the Finishing tab. 4.Select the Print on both sides check box. Click the OK button to print the job. Manually print on both sides with Windows NOTE: This section primarily applies to the HP LaserJ et Pro 400 M401a Printer and HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401n Printer models. However, the HP LaserJ et Pro 400 M401d Printer, HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn Printer, and HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dw Printer models also can print two-sided jobs manually if the paper is not suppo rted by automatic two-sided printing, or if the duplexing unit has been disabled. 1.
