Clearing Image Transfer Area Jams The printer message 13.1 CLEAR DRUM WINDING JAM indicates media is jammed in the image transfer area of the internal paper path. Caution Do not expose the print drum to direct light for extended periods of time. Exposure to light can permanently damage the print drum. Do not touch the transfer belt surface. Clearing Fusing and Paper Output Area Jams The printer message 13.2 CLEAR OUTPUT JAM or 13.5 CLEAR PAPER JAM indicates media is jammed in the output paper path. 1If the jammed paper has passed partially into the output bin, gently pull the paper out.
