6 - 41 UPC-E0 Number System and Check Digit UPC-E0 Check Digit Check Digit specifies whether the check digit should be transmitted at the end of the scanned data or not. Default = Off. UPC-E0 Leading Zero This feature allows the transmission of a leading zero (0) at the beginning of scanned data. To prevent transmission, scan Off. Default = Off. 6 - 42 UPC-E0 Addenda This selection adds 2 or 5 digits to the end of all scanned UPC-E data. Default = Off for both 2 Digit and 5 Digit Addenda. UPC-E0 Addenda Required When Required is scanned, the scanner will only read UPC-E bar codes that have addenda. Default = Not Required. Addenda Timeout You can set a time during which the scanner looks for an addenda.
