1.11  Photometer Menu Commands  
 
The following commands are available in the Spectrophotometer 
menu.  
• Set Wavelength   
• Zero Adjust   
• Auto Pre-scan   
• Shutter Open/Close   
 
(1) Set Wavelength  
 
This command sets the excitation/emission wavelength to a 
specified wavelength.   
Click the Set Wavelength command or button, and the 
dialog box shown below will come up.   
 
 
 
 
(2) Auto Pre-scan  
 
This command automatically searches for an optimum 
excitation/emission wavelength...

1.12  Utility Menu Commands  
 
The Utility menu contains the following commands: 
• Instrumental Response   
• Analog Output Gain 
• EX Power Monitor   
• Sens. Check   
• Lamp Usage   
• Lamp Off (only with Model F-2500)   
 
(1) Instrumental Response  
 
When you use this function.    You need the Spectral 
correction accessories kit (P/N 251-0126).       
 
(2)  Analog Output Gain   
 
Use this command for setting a data value corresponding to

1.13    Termination of FL Solutions Program   
 
After completion of measurement, shut down the instrument in 
the following procedure.   
 
(1)  From the File (F) menu, select the Exit (X) command.

(2)  Turn off the power switch of the spectrophotometer main

for wavelength scan.

2.2    Creating an Analysis Method   
 
Set the analytical conditions (method) prior to measurement.   
From the Edit menu, select the Method command or click the 
        button.    The dialog box shown in Fig. 2-2 will appear.

Enter a description or notes on measuring conditions.

(h) Save  
By clicking this button after setting the parameters for 
all five tabs, the analytical conditions are saved.

Select one of the following scan modes.    In case of 
Synchronous, excitation wavelength appears on the 
abscissa of the graph.

Select one of the following data modes.   
The Luminescence mode is for measuring 
luminescence in the biological/chemical field and only 
the sample side signal is acquired without performing

excitation side.    Input the longer wavelength side of
