    Use new, smooth, high-quality paperthatisnot damp, curled, creased, old,toothin, ortoo thick.

    Follow anyspecial loading instructions thatcame withthepaper.
     •
    Ifroll paper doesnotfeed, cutthe end straight acrossanduncurl itby rolling itbackward, ifnecessary.
     Then
    reload thepaper.
     •
    Ifyou cannot insertpaper easilyintothepaper feedslot,make surethepaper isperfectly flatand not
     curled.
    
    •
    Do not load more thanonepiece ofcut sheet paper.
     •
    Make sureyourpaper meets thespecifications foryour product.
     •
    Ifthick media doesnotfeed, make sureyouareloading itstraight intotheproduct, notatan angle.
     •
    Ifpaper doesnoteject correctly, decrease thePaper Suction settingforthe loaded papertype.
     •
    Make surethatpaper isnot jammed insidetheproduct.

    Replace thepaper cassette andtheoutput tray.
     6.
    Turn theprinter offand back onagain.

    Ifnozzles arestillclogged afterhead cleaning atthe strongest level,leave theproduct turnedoff
     overnight
    andcheck thenozzles again.Ifyou stillcannot clearthenozzles, contactEpsonsupport.
     •
    Ifthe printer hasnotbeen usedforalong time, nozzles maybedried andclogged. Turntheprinter on
     at

    you notice thatyour printquality isuneven, toolight, toodark, orthere arelines inthe print (banding),
     try
    these solutions:
     •
    Run anozzle checktosee ifany ofthe print head nozzles areclogged. Thenclean theprint head, if
     necessary.
    
    •
    Align theprint head.
     •
    Make sureyouareusing genuine Epsoninkcartridges. Ifyou usenon-Epson inkcartridges, theprint
     result
    maybefaint orthe color ofthe printed imagemaybeinaccurate becausetheremaining inklevel
     is
    not correctly detected.
     •
    Make sureyourinkcartridges havenotexpired. Forbest results, useinkcartridges beforethe
     expiration
    dateprinted onthe package (withinsixmonths ofinstallation inthe printer). Replace expired
     cartridges
    withnew ones.
     •
    Shake thecartridges beforeinstalling theminthe printer. Tomaintain optimum printquality, remove
     and
    shake theinstalled cartridges ifthe printer hasnotbeen usedinthe last three months.
     •
    Make sureyouselected thecorrect MediaTypesetting inthe printer driverthatmatches thepaper
     loaded
    inthe printer.
     •
    Compare theprint result withtheimage onyour computer screen.Sincemonitors andprinters
     produce
    colorsdifferently, printedcolorsandscreen colorsdonot always lookthesame.
     •
    Make surethattheprinter coverisclosed duringprinting.
     •
    Check theinklevels onthe LCD screen. Replace anycartridges thatarelow onink.
     •
    Enable colormanagement inthe software application orinthe printer driver.
     •
    Ifyou areusing non-Epson media,makesureyoucreate acustom paperconfiguration forthe media.
