Turn offthe product.
 2.
Unplug thepower cable.
 3.
Disconnect anyconnected cables.
 4.
Remove anypaper fromtheproduct.
 5.
Open theprinter coverandcarefully cleantheinside ofthe product withasoft, clean cloth.

Gently wipethelight blue areas inthe direction indicated bythe arrow.
 Note:
Donot touch thegray areas (therollers orthe inkabsorption pads)oryour prints maybe
 soiled.

Caution:
Becareful nottotouch theinktubes inside theproduct.

Ifyour product isstill dirty, dampen thecloth withasmall amount ofwater andamild detergent and
 repeat
theprevious step.Then wipetheinside ofthe printer withasoft, drycloth.

Ifpaper particles haveaccumulated inthe holes onthe platen, useatoothpick orsimilar tooltopush
 them
through.
 9.
Close theprinter cover.
 10.
Use asoft, clean clothtoremove anydust ordirt from theoutside ofthe product.
 11.
Plug thepower cordandinterface cablesbackin.
 12.
Turn onthe product.
 13.
Load rollpaper inthe printer.
 14.
Press thepaper feedbutton several timestofeed blank paper through thepaper pathandclean
 the
rollers.
 15.
Press the papercutbutton.

Turn onthe printer.
 2.
Press the papersource buttononthe control paneltoselect Paper Type.
 3.
Press theupordown arrow button toselect RollPaper/Cut orRoll Paper/No Cut,and press the
 OK
button.
 4.
Press theloadpaper button.
 5.
Open therollpaper cover. Remove therollpaper, ifnecessary.
 6.
Remove theprotective filmfrom thecleaning sheet.

Donot touch theadhesive onthe sheet (thedark grayarea).
 7.
With theadhesive facingtoward you,insert thecleaning sheetonthe leftside ofthe printer untilit
 reaches
theend ofthe rollpaper feedslot,then pullitout. Repeat thistwotothree times. Repeat for
 the
center andright sideofthe rollpaper feedslot.
 Note:
Youcanuseacleaning sheetonlyonce.
 8.
Press theloadpaper button whencomplete.

Open theleftand right inkcartridge covers.

Open theprinter cover.

Use aPhillips-head screwdrivertoremove thefour screws securing thefront cover, thenremove the
 front
cover.

Press inon the tabonthe cutter cover, release it,and pulldown onthe cutter covertoopen it.
 6.
Loosen thescrew holding thecutter inplace andcarefully removethecutter.
 Warning:
Keepthecutter outofthe reach ofchildren. Theblade issharp andcancause injury.

Align thepinonthe new cutter withthehole inthe product andinsert it.Tighten thecutter screw
 securely.

8.
Close thecutter coverasshown andpress itin until itclicks intoplace.
 Note:
Ifyou removed theoptional SpectroProofer, reinstallit.See theinstructions thatcame withthe
 SpectroProofer
fordetails oninstalling it.
