    							Programming The DID/DNIS Lines
If the system is using Direct Inward Dialing (DID) or Dialed Number Identification Service (DNIS) lines, select
one of the following programming methods.
    Preferred Method
    1. Disable a station to be used for DID/DNIS calls.
    2. Program a hunt list of up to four assigned intercoms. Optionally, you can include a call forwarding scheme for
    the disabled station.
By providing an inactive extension with group intercoms 4201, 4217, 4233, and 4249 (group intercoms associated
with ACD group one), the programmer can create a DID termination and routing center. When a DID/DNIS call
rings in, the system routes the call through the inactive station’s hunt list until it locates a group intercom for the
    call to ring.
The programmer can arrange several DID termination centers to service different DID numbers. Each DID
number could represent different calling categories, and ring at different blocks of system stations.
    Alternate Method
    1. Assign all QuickQ lines to a particular group.
    2. Set the Expected Digits parameter to zero in the DID/DNIS Block Options menu.
When a call rings in on one of theQuickQlines, the DXP (or DXP Plus) willnotuse the translation table.QuickQ
will route the line directly to the appropriateQuickQgroup.
NOTE: This method will work only when using one DNIS number. This is not a typical
    application.

Programming Class Of Service For Master Channels And DVA Ports
You can assign any class of service from COS1 through COS32 to the master channels and DVA ports; however,
reserve the COS that you do assign exclusively for the master channel and the DVA ports. Be sure to enter the
COS number that you use here as the COS entry on the station programming features for the master channels and
    DVA ports.

    Setting Up The Personal Computer
Follow the information that Sections 2 and 3 provide for installing and wiring theQuickQsystem. Then refer to
this section to set up the computer hardware and perform the initial programming required for theQuickQsystem.
    Using QuickQ With A Keyboard
You can use either a keyboard or a mouse to access
theQuickQ. It is a good practice to use the keyboard
for programming until you become comfortable using
a mouse. For instruction on using a mouse and the
QuickQ, refer to Appendix 1 page A1-1.
There are five keys that can be used in place of a
    mouse.
TABPress to highlight a word (or item) and
move the cursor. Press Shift-TAB to
    move the highlight backward.
ENTERPress when you require a specific word
(or item) once you have highlighted it.
Press to close a message or error window.
ESCPress to close a message or error window
or to close the current window.ARROWPress to move the cursor.
ALTPress and hold while typing an underlined
letter to open a window. For example, to
access the sign-in menu you can press and
hold ALT and then type S. The ALT key
will move the control from a window
back to the menu title bar without closing
    the window.
F1Press to cause a help window to appear.
NOTE:The PRINT SCREEN and PAUSE keys are
    not functional in QuickQ.
    Performing Initial Programming For QuickQ
    IfyouswitchtheQuickQon without having first
programmed the master channel extension numbers
into theQuickQsoftware, an error window will open
with an appropriate error message. See Figure 5-1 for
an example of this window.Whenever a connection problem occurs during a
system reboot, the type and location of the problem
will appear in this window. PressESCto close
